He gets a lot of stick for that, but overall Hagler's the man. I picked Kat for that one too but Burns was way better than I expected.REAL_DEAL wrote:Nice one but nothing beats Hagler2002 post back in the day http://boxrec.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f ... 5&hilit=2k![]()

as i expected, lots of stupid comments with zero substance to them. many claiming Haye has the better speed & Power and experience etc etc. Well i can only say to those people, "You are going to be in for a very very big shock on 28th"
1/. Who has Haye knocked out at Heavyweight of the caliber of Fury is at now..... Answer: nobody
2/. Which of his fights can i see this blinding speed and power of Haye....Answer: none
3/. How will Haye KO Fury when Emmanuel Stewart claimed,"There is nothing wrong with Tyson Fury's chin. Did Kevin Johnson KO Fury and he is a far bigger puncher than Haye..... Answer: Haye wont KO him
4/. Boxing is a young mans sport: Fury age 24yrs Haye age 33yrs, Haye is not improving whereas Fury is improving.
5/. Haye has boxed 5rds in over 2yrs, Fury has fought 37rds and 5 opponents in the last 2yrs. "Rest is Rust" said Ray Arcel
6/. Fury can keep it long range all night like he did with Johnston and win by a landslide. Haye needs a KO to win.
7/. Bottom line is, This is easier money than finding it lying in the street.

Must be some hidden tapes out there of Fury fights or this chap is trying to get some to follow his lead and distort the prices somewhat so he can have his real bet on Haye

nope not Tyson Fury himself nor is it a wind up.. reason you claim that is because you cannot come back with any logical reason on how David Haye can possibly win. i have covered every angle of the statistics leading up to this fight and 3/1 Tyson Fury to win is simply a fantastic bet.

You've set yourself up for a helluva fall, on fight night your going to hit the deck far harder the Fury!
Re: i have bet £1000 at odds of 3/1 Fury beats Haye
If you can afford to bet £1000 then fair play to you; I'll bet £10 (on Fury) and enjoy the bout and won't sweat whoever wins.
Re: i have bet £1000 at odds of 3/1 Fury beats Haye
Definietly not the smartest bet ive seen! Can Fury win? Yeah he can but Haye is definietly the favourite in my eyes and majority of peoples eyes. It's not a good sign when Steve Cunningham can put you flat on your back and Haye hits a lot harder.

I'll repeat this, palooka if you think Fury has a chance just bet on him by stoppage and the odds will be a lot better. There is at least a very small chance Fury gets to lean on Haye and tire him out for the stoppage, whereas Fury on points is inconceivable.palooka wrote:If you can afford to bet £1000 then fair play to you; I'll bet £10 (on Fury) and enjoy the bout and won't sweat whoever wins.

Yep there's no point backing Fury if not by knockout.Riddick Blowe wrote:I'll repeat this, palooka if you think Fury has a chance just bet on him by stoppage and the odds will be a lot better. Surely that's the only way he wins.
Let's be honest DH doesn't have a great chin either, but he's too smart to lose this one
Re: i have bet £1000 at odds of 3/1 Fury beats Haye
I just don't about the big man ? Great interview under uk news , sounds very sincere and confident. A fairly calm and intelligent view of the fight , and then when he goes in front of a large audience he goes off the deep end!
I get a gut feeling when he talks about repetition that he's planning to fight like the Klitschkos, straight jab right cross and smother, and if he does this he might just wear Haye down for a close points win.
I hope so anyway, he's a breath of fresh air.

To be honest with you guys who have posted on this topic, i am very surprised that 98% of you favor Haye to win. is it just you WANT Haye to win or can you honestly if your life depended on the result say, "i am on Haye".. because i honestly do not give him much of a chance. i have followed boxing for 45yrs and i have been in attendance at over 100+ 'Live' Boxing shows, i own over 20,000+ fights on DVD so i am certainly not a guy who knows little about the sport. Yet i am shocked so many people on here and in the media think this is a cake-walk fight for David Haye.. The same David Haye who told the world how easy it would be for him to behead The Klitschko Brothers. Yet stunk the place out with a feeble performance, again his performance against both Valuev & Harrison was no better, yet you guys are 100% confident he will KO Fury easily.. i find it very difficult to get my head around that and as i have previously said, "i feel it is almost certain Fury will triumph" Fury is the fighter who has compiled an undefeated record and climbed the world rankings to be rated in the Top 5 while Haye is coming back out of retirement. A retirement he was sent into in shame by Wlad Klitschko. Yet you guys claim he will easily beat the young guy rated in the world Top 5.....c'mon guys surely you are winding me up!

Fury isnt Klitschko though. Klitschko is a very measured boxer with serious punching power to boot! Fury isnt that big of a puncher for how big of a guy he is and his boxing is nowhere near as tight as Wladimir's is. Wladimir doesnt give you a lot of opportunities to land on him whereas Fury does.sonnyboyx2 wrote:To be honest with you guys who have posted on this topic, i am very surprised that 98% of you favor Haye to win. is it just you WANT Haye to win or can you honestly if your life depended on the result say, "i am on Haye".. because i honestly do not give him much of a chance. i have followed boxing for 45yrs and i have been in attendance at over 100+ 'Live' Boxing shows, i own over 20,000+ fights on DVD so i am certainly not a guy who knows little about the sport. To answer you're ridiculous number 1 and 2 of no substance, a fat Chisora nearly KOd Fury will no stamina or speed. A fit Chisora got destroyed by Haye's 'speed and power' and Chisora's chin has been seen as solid in every single other fight. So, Chisora is the answer and someone you can defo compare the two fighter tosonnyboyx2 wrote:as i expected, lots of stupid comments with zero substance to them. many claiming Haye has the better speed & Power and experience etc etc. Well i can only say to those people, "You are going to be in for a very very big shock on 28th"

3. Johnson was a breathing heavy bag who has never been known for his power. Steward only saw Fury briefly in training and, sadly, hasn't seen his recent fights when his chin has been questioned. So to base your bet on that one statement would be ridiculous
4. HW boxing is not a young mans game. Vitali is 42 and Wlad 37. Haye doesn't have an old body. He takes extreme care of himself and is in better physical shape than Fury. Tyson is getting better fitness wise but he was pretty 'fat' in boxing terms for most of his pro career. Haye has an incredible physique (no homo)
5. Hayes never been that active but this is the one decent point you've made in your entire post
6. Anyone can keep a heavy bag at range
7. Just no
