As regards Khan, he signed a two-fight deal with Allegedly channel so that will include the Alexander fight.
All deals have caveats - and are they consecutive fights ?

I think Sky will be gunning hard for a showcase Kell Brook fight , and the dance partner has to be Amir Khan, especially if he loses as expected to Devon Alexander.

Elsewhere there is also chatter about Brook vs Adrien Broner.

Whatever happens next after Senchenko, it needs to happen quickly for Kell Brook, or I don't think it happens at all. Dont ask me why, but I just get a funny feeling he might pack it all in or something or other happens.

Surely they aren't cynical enough to go after Khan if he loses instead of Alexander and a mandatory shot?

Brook-Broner would be a great fight. But I just can't see Broner being allowed in the ring with Kell.

Alexander could well end up fighting Mayweather if he wins, tieing up the IBF belt until at least September.

I can't think why they wouldn't be consecutive, so I'd expect Alexander-Khan to be the second fight of Khan's deal.

If Brook-Broner got made it would be because Eddie had lost patience with Brook and was chucking him in a sink or swim fight.

Read on WBN that Etches and Jenkins (both Hatton fighters) will be appearing on Matchroom's Kell Brook bill in October. Not one show for Hatton yet scheduled for allegedly, so hardly surprising...

We've also got the question - Will BN be showing Seth Mitchell vs Chris Arreola next week?

It's the kind of card they were picking up before. I just wonder if Mayweather vs Canelo has taken too much out of the pot with regards to 'live' cards.

I understand your point and agree to some degree however I am thrilled that I will be watching the Mayweather bout live; paying fan as I am I would not be staying up late to watch Mitchell and if I missed recording it I wouldn't be all that bothered. If they get most of it right I'm happy.

I might be jumping the gun here, but 4 BN shows on the current schedule is the lowest I have ever known. Admittedly the Copperbox & Mayweather ones are good but I would like to see more added.

SKY have snapped up some massive fights in a challenge to allegedly:

http://www.matchroomboxing.com/news/fro ... citing.htm

28th September - Tavoris Cloud Vs. Adonis Stevenson
05th October - Miguel Cotto Vs. Devlin Rodriguez
12th October - Timothy Bradley Vs. Juan Manuel Marquez
19th October - Mike Alvarado Vs. Ruslan Provodnikov

Of more concern, looking at the boxing schedules over the next 2-3 months is that there doesn't appear to be a great number of fight cards waiting to be snapped up. As far as I can tell, and aside from the odd Asian card, the following are the only respectable level fights yet to have a confirmed UK broadcast....

7th Sept - Seth Mitchell v Chris Arreola
5th Oct - Wlad Klitschko v Alex Povetkin
26th Oct - Bernard Hopkins v Karo Murat
23rd Nov - Manny Pacquaio v Brandon Rios
7th Dec - Amir Khan v Devon Alexander

Obviously, there are fights yet to be made that will be attractive, but most of the top guys are tied up already. Also Warrens own stable are all in action on either 21st Sept (Copperbox) or 19th October (Frampton) or are in need of rest/rebuilding after shattering defeats (Price and Cleverly). I may be missing something fundamental, but it's tricky to see where a substantial boost to the schedules is going to come from.

Got to agree. With Mayweather Vs. Alvarez taking place on the 14th September, it's almost 7 week until allegedly are likely to show their next international event being Hopkins Vs. Murat. It's a very shrewd move by SKY. Maybe allegedly will need to look further a field than usual to beef up their schedule however as you've stated not too many massive cards left over the next 2 months.

I've always wondered why allegedly never snapped up a long term deal with Top Rank.

I am pissed off @ allegedly letting the Sky vultures snatch Alvarado/Provodnikov and Bradley/Marquez.
I refuse to re-subscribe to sky sports for these fights when I will be buying Haye/Fury Froch/Kessler for £30

allegedly had better get Pacman v Rios :x :box: :box: :box: :box:

I think they may have put a lot of resources in the Mayweather - Canelo basket and have little left. The recent subscription offer they had "ENDS ON [last] SATURDAY: Subscribe to #allegedly NOW using code TVOFFER1 & you'll get a free month & pay NO reg fee" is possibly touch worrying.

The schedule is very bare at the moment. It has had spells like this in the past and picked up, so I'm still hoping. There are a lot of good match ups before the end of the year and want to see a good proportion of these
