How much more do you think the Promotors would have made if they'd stacked the undercard ?
Answer is zero.
The alter ego is that the Promotor would have made less money had they done so.

i'm travelling from London for this (to support Haye) and am disappointed at the undercard but will make it a good night anyway. Will be good to see Jumah in action after the hype; good to see Luke Campbell out again before the hull show; Quigg will be a close fight and the usual Hughie Fury & Eubank Jr will be interesting to see if their fights are against tougher opposition, albeit unlikely. And of course Andy Lee.

Anyone know who Paddy Murphy is though? Still expect 2-3 more additions at lower round fights though, doors open at 6 and apparently ringwalk for the main fight is at 10.30 so may be tight.....

Never knew Luke Campbell was on it fantastic looking forward to seeing all the young prospects in action, making the trip from Cardiff. GET YOUR FURY ON.

I bumped into Bomber Graham in about 87 in the Sheaf Market, I'd just bought The Ring magazine (I can remember it like yesterday though I was 17 years old!) Michael Olajide was on the cover and there was a write up about Bomber and the Ingle gym; I was so surprised to see Herol that I didn't think to ask him if he'd sign it - I was amazed at how slight he seemed. Magnificent 7 was stacked because it not have a stand-out main event that would attract the mainstream in droves. And comparing US ppvs to UK is misleading. In the US there is a lot more competition and ppv is far more expensive so promoters are forced to stack shows.

Still better than the Haye Fraudley undercard. Anyone recall Barry Mcguigan and Johnny Nelson bickering for ages about tactics and those videos before the fight.

Yes Groves v Kenny Anderson was quality but I'm sure that was done at pretty short notice.

Scott Quigg v Salinas should be good and Andy Lee will want to impress against Spada. Lee was dire against that Fitzgerald on the Frampton card. Spada has never been stopped so if Lee can do get him out of there looks good IMO.

CBA with Eubank Jr in nothing fights now should have fought someone else to properly test him after Bradley Pryce gave him a good fight.

I am joking by the way ;;-) , I have nowt against travellers or anybody for that matter. I saw 3 or 4 unofficial fights at Khan- Diaz that weren't on the card. Some massive bell-ends go to the big shows and this one turns me right off.

All the undercard moaners need to think about how fast this main event sold out? Then you need to think about what kind of fight this is in terms of decibels. The crowd will be electric the sound deafening this is the biggest heavyweight domestic fight since Bruno v Lewis. We are in a recession in boxing terms with absolutely zero talent in the heavyweight ranks. These 2 boxers must be the biggest names of 2013, there are no Yanks around this time to take away the glory of a fine exhibition of pure heavyweight talent that is homegrown. Come 1 week tomorrow those who attend are going to witness something either very special or a very big shock. Either way you will not forget this showdown in a hurry. Keep hold of your program to show the grand kids and at least you can say, when others say 'where where you when JFK was shot?' 'I was there the night ???? was laid flat on his back and did not make the 10 count'

Not one person who has mentioned the fight to me(hundreds by the way), have mentioned anything of the undercard, except a few who have asked if "Fury's cousin is fighting". Even if Macklin-Murray was on the undercard, 99% of the buyers would talk through it and look forward to the main event. Its ALL about the main event. Personally, im quite impressed with the line up, I expected a lot worse.
