He's looked good in every fight and always fought on the road. Flintoff bill, Luxembourg, dinner show... Will be great to see him in the North East next time(still a good drive from his home though!).

Robbed at home, in the Olympics, not sure I buy that one. Audley Harrison won an Olympic gold medal, what a great pro he's been. Johnny Nelson had 13 amateur fights and won 3, he went on to be world champion for 6 years. Being a good amateur doesn't make you a good pro, he's looked poor and he's 29, so he'll have to be moved quickly and everyone in the top 10 in the country beats him right now.[/quote]

fact is .. 'most' top amateurs become top pros, most of them

just look who was olympic or world championship medalists..... Mayweather, W Klitschko, Froch, Golovkin, Rigondeux, etc etc

and you can't really go off age either, most of the top 20 p4p fighters are in their 30s

I don't think you people on here actualy watch the amateurs, Stalker was a brilliant amateur, really good, he has a lot of talent. I'll say it right now - there is 100% no way he will fail to get to british title level.... absolutely no chance... it is beyond trolling for people to say that you don;t know how stupid you sound.

He was a great amateur no doubt but he's looked absolute turd as a pro so far.

Audley won a European title in the one moment of heart he has ever shown in a boxing ring. He was losing and pulled out the big punch. I fail to see how someone who didn't medal at the Olympics and won bronze at the worlds could be number 1 in his division. Not all top fighters adjust, Shiming has struggled, Audley did, Tony Jeffries as well.

If you'd read my earlier posts or if you followed amateur boxing you'd know I meant before the Olympic games he was ranked world number 1 at his weight, to be the number 1 he was obviously the most consistent world class fighter in his weight class, he was the number 1 seed at the olympics, and clearly got robbed in the quarter finals.

Stalker is one of our best prospects, trust me if you don't see it now you'll see it very soon
