To keep busy.
Why not fight somebody that will enhance his career?
This will enhance his career, the WBC usually rank the European champion in the top 15, more defences will push him higher up the rankings for a world title that will become vacant in the near future. So while it's not a great opponent, it will still probably move him closer to a world title fight, keeping him active in the process.

Seems like a decline in sobriety on paper too.

This guy was sparring with Fury in Belgium in August. I think most people have made some good comments and comparisons on here already but he should give Del Boy a few hard rounds.
:TU:

Watch that fight on YouTube he does box like fury and by looking at his record Del Boy should blasted him out of there Early..

its a european title fight so im assuming Gjerjaj has a decent european ranking. I think his not too distant step up targets are either fury or thompson by the gjerjaj fury comparisons. I would be surprised if price v chisora happens especially with price changing to booth he will need some fights to adapt to whatever style and tactics booth incorporates.

I dont have an issue with lower level opponents when fighters are fighting so frequently like chisora. We also know that chisora will take on any challenge no matter how dangerous when the opportunity arises so im assuming there probably isnt a better match to be made just yet.

I heard from a reliable source that Arnold Gjerjaj is injured. If it's true, Alledgedly will need to find another opponent for Chisora.

Yup. I'd agree with that. If injured, the guy probably won't fight. :TU:

Recent fight. Very easy to hit.
By far the most distressing thing about this entire thread is the fact that the fat bloke in this video (i.e. not Mr Gjerjaj) has beaten Danny Williams.

Gjerjaj's record was extremely Wilder-esque. i think he's a waste of time. dont care about injury claims.

gjerjaj is better than anyone wilder ever fought!!!!!
let chisora have his winning streak like other guys do.

look at who chagaev, povetkin, wilder, arreola have fought.

gjerjaj prob is crap, but let delboy have beat another undefeated fighter before anyone else does.

his last 3 fights including this one , only one defeat between his opponents.

yes if wladimir or anyone fought him its different, but chisora deserves his this now.

its better to beat gerjaj than recycled opponent like sprott, pudar, shepprd, manswell or firtha or maddalone
