i think its a great move for price... for me Booth is one of the best and i really hope price can get his career back on track

Booth is a good choice from price in my opinion.
Especially because he keeps a small stable of fighters and can give them individually a lot of attention. Hes very thoughtful and precise about how he goes about things and should bring Price on leaps and bounds. Hopefully the first thing they work on is his fitness/stamina.

Yeah, that's what I was trying to say before. I mean look at Wlad, what's he? 37 now right? Anyway he's still in his prime really in terms of dominance.

Sounds like price needs a sports psychologist.
I like price & regardless of his shown weakness he does have the tools.
I personally don't think booth can add anything to him & tho booth has been great for haye I don't think he will be for price abit like hatton & graham they are well suited.

I think one more bad loss and Price throws in the towel. It could be a short-lived arrangement!

Price won't get to box Wlad - it's a different league altogether.

Where did he suggest he was going to fight Wlad?

Anyway. Price can easily fight for another 8 years or so with his style and power.

I think Booth is ideal to work on fitness and fatigue. Good move. I still can't really work out who I'd put Price in with, he's KO'd a lot of the durable domestic fighters. Someone like Hamer, Scott or Kevin Johnson?

I think Price needs a couple of confidence boosters before he gets in with anyone remotely dangerous as another defeat really would be catastrophic. I think he's one fight away from winning the Lonsdale belt outright so ideally he'd want it to be against a British fighter but he should definitely avoid Chisora for now.

sometimes you gotta win ugly. Booth did he right thing it may not have made compelling viewing, but sometimes you just have to win, to get over a loss. Booth did teach Haye a lot of discipline in the ring.

It wasn't booths plans to take on abdoul as haye did. Haye said afterwards he wanted to pace himself & get rounds & he tredded very carefully. It was a mental thing & booth knew what haye wanted to achieve & supported him.
Booth seems good at understanding people & assuring & maybe booth is right for him

It's horses for courses though, Groves is a tough competitor and will learn from his new trainer; does anyone know the story behind the split? What has Groves said (if anything) that has riled Froch so much?

I have no idea what the split is about myself. On one of the boxing radio shows *cant think which one* all groves said was he didnt want to go into it but that relationship was over. Also he said there was a few things to sort out. Im guessing money.

I still don't buy it.they couldn't care less in fooling eddy Hearn.booth is very shrewd & use's promoters as stepping stones. When I read franky saying the split does hold water, as there was disagreements when he promoted them,was like him making allegiance's.
The way groves is & how impressionable he is, I very much doubt he has come to the stage where he feels booth is no longer required especially with the most important fight of his life.

David Price is familiar with Adam Booth and his training camps, so must have been impressed in the past. It's a good move and we will see what Adam Booth can add to David's game.

I personally don't think Price can go all the way but think this is a positive move.

Booth looks a bit like a homosexual predator IMO who looks to have a freckle fetish.
David Price will improve and matched carefully will have a career but his lack of chin and charisma make him very dull.
And I cant really see Liverpool turning out for him again in a long while either.
It will take a master promoter to turn him into anything other than an also ran.
