I think people are misunderstanding it a bit, Froch isn't upset or allowing groves into his head, he is just plainly itching to get this fight on and in my opinion, he will REALLY take it out on groves when they meet.

The crying bit was a bit over the top, but Froch had a face like a smacked arse because Groves said he was going to knock him out. Groves got under DeGale's skin and outthought in the ring, if Froch goes in looking to smash Groves all over the ring he's in for a shock because I think that's Groves' plan, wind Froch up so he loses his head, then outbox him on the back foot. I think Booth will show up in the corner as well, he's been very quiet over the last couple of months and has deleted his twitter, in fact when was the last time anyone heard from him? All that seems designed to throw Froch off, drag him into a war that will allow Groves to outbox him.

Talk of Groves knocking Froch out seems laughable to me it was entertaining.
Eddie is looking and sounding more like a sleazy promoter on every outing.
Froch will KO Groves of this I'm certain he may win the battle of minds but he is out of his depth its 2 or 3 fights too early for him.

Just wondering if Groves thinks he can make Froch angry which will rsult in him not fighting as well and making mistakes.
Don't think it will work though. Thought Groves looked a bit of a tit the way he kept leaning over towards Froch all the time.

I'm with Yiddo on this. It was pretty shite and I honestly think Froch was a bit embarrassed / pissed off with some of the 'smack talk' Groves delivered. The whole 'you gonna cry' thing would have wound him up as its the sort of thing he would smack you in the mouth for, but he had to try and keep cool. A bit childish from Groves, and I say that as a Groves fan.

He doesn't mean it, of course and Froch knows its done to wind him up. It might work now and up to the run in, I doubt it will effect the way Froch trains or the outcome, come fight night

So many people on this thread appear to think that rattled means scared livid

Difference is froch tags groves he goes, groves tags froch he stands and hits back, end off.

The arguments that Fury threw at Haye during their own Ringside sit-off carried far more substance that what Groves produced here, and yet Froch seemed considerably more affected than Haye even though Froch didn't really put a word wrong in truth.

All I read into that is that Froch really doesn't like to be openly disrespected in this way, especially when so many of Groves points are flawed. Don't see it having any bearing on the fight outcome.

I've always enjoyed Groves interviews in the past but the crying bit was utterly cringeworthy.

Groves was on the wind up and I don't understand why Froch is letting it get to him so much.

One thing is clear as day, you can see who Sky's favourite is, they love Froch.

Groves has some valid points, Kessler and Ward (and Dirrell) showed ways of beating Froch and sometimes too much has been made of the fights he's had and his run, and the losses are often over-looked or forgotten.

I think Groves can show Froch's limitations in this fight, but I'm not sure when the heat is on if he can hang with him if it does turn into a fight. Carl is just so damn resilient.

it's okay having a chin but that doesn't mean you want to get tickled on it. Any idea that Froch's chin is made from granite really ought to be dismissed. Taylor found it and if George finds one like he found against Paul Smith then the fight's over, simple as that.

It's a show format that makes it very, very easy to come across a bit of/ lot of a tw*t. You can't exactly sit there saying nowt, but getting involved in playground style insults is just embarrassing - AND, I think both are mentally strong enough for it to have jack all to do with what goes down in the ring.
It might get a few more casual viewers (please don't say it's PPV ), but they're both gonna get well paid without these stupid programmes.
