I agree with this.

I think defence is key for Frankie. He's skillful and intelligent. He's not a one punch KO artist but he doesn't lack pop. The better his defence becomes the better career he will have.

if he could benefit from 2-3 years of top conditioning diet and disciplined training gavin would be able to compete with any welter in the world. if he could back up his excellent boxing brain with burns- like graft he could rule the world. im sure he could beat khan now.

I know its not a body building contest but sometimes Frankie has looked a little on the soft side...without the sharp definition of other fighters.

If he is skipping training a little it will be a shame because he has everything else to be a real threat to anyone in the division.

Look at naseem hamed,he disnt have the definition of a boxer,look at tony tubbs he never either. As long as the fighter gets in the ring and does the buisnesd i dont care if they like E.T

Tony Tubbs is a cup cake too far, mate.

Tubbs could have been a far better fighter if he had been in shape.

Just shocks me that guys go into the ring, put it all on the line, and aren't 100%.

Frankie could be in perfect condition...I don't know. I just want him to succeed.

I wonder though if it's a case of body type more than anything sometimes though! One thing I would be interested in and would possibly explain why frankie isnt that muscular/ripped is if his training involved much weight lifting?

He'd fought 7 months before and rustiness doesn't last 7 rounds or account for a broken jaw, I'd suggest he looked that way simply because he was in with a far better fighter who was way too good for him.
