But, New York State Guidelines, restrict Judges from deducting points 'without' direction from the Referee.
Even the Boxing Commissioner has 'no' authority to deduct any points regarding the bout in the Ring.
It was all on Tony Perez' shoulders, and he failed miserably.
A judge can score a round any way he damn well please, your obscurantist rantings notwithstanding.

A separate category for fantasy match ups might be needed. It's a fair call. Of course we'll have to put up with those chaps from the current scene but it seems the only way...
As for the rest of it. I honestly expected it to wither on the vine. But too many people seem to enjoy arguing with Il Duce for it to ever stop. I suspect that they don't want it to.

Just go look at what Scribbs did the CBZ with his incredible regurgitation of posted links to news articles that directed traffic AWAY from the CBZ not to it while burying the actual active discussions. You are essentially seeing the same thing and I cant help but wonder how long its going to take anyone who cares about this forum to actually clean it up. I can give two suggestions before I spend all my time at checkhook: 1. Curb the bullshit from Il Douche or ban him outright, god knows hes spouted off enough to warrant. Far more in fact than what got him banned on all the other forums hes been on. 2. Create a seperate sub-forum for fantasy matchups so vladimir can run wild to his boxing related turrets syndrome hearts content...

I don't think it's fair to lump Vlad in with Il Bugiardo. The former doesn't know what he's doing while the latter certainly does. I agree with ezzard and klompton...i tried to walk away from.the forum as il duce drowns everything and ruins my enjoyment. Then i tried to challenge him but all he does is have three or four threads running at once and when things get a little too hot he disappears into another thread. A very old thread but, yeah that was a mistake to do what I did but was quite new to forums and Gordoom asked for posters to keep it busy. I thought if I posted more links and people realized it active then might be more busy.
Someone complained and I got a bit defensive about it but did spend a lot of time looking for links in free time. The argument Neil the other poster stated was the same as you stated but wanted personal input on stories which I did not have time to do or really do anyway on forums. I like to be diverted to info on fights and fighters
It's a shame the board was taken down altogether although it was locked but still visible for 12 months as some of the the threads were good.
