Kell Brook who is mandatory for the IBF? I dont mind a weaker fight if there is a point. Thought none of Kells have been this.
Kotey was at a similar level to Lamptrey and Galarza was a step back as well. To be honest I only posted it because I knew it would get a reaction out of los2.

With the reasons given it's fair enough to take this fight, but there has simply got to be a step up in levels next year. No more stagnation.

gavin is older than brook....brook chose to learn the pro game not 3 rounders...imagine the stick brook would get if he'd had lottery funding and not gone to olympics

But if he would have won the World ams the good would probably outweigh the bad. Making history and all that..

It's incredible really that Amir Khan is the youngest out of Brook, Khan and Gavin; he's really done well.

He did the best he could to make the Olympics, but couldn't make the weight, Kerry Kayes wasn't allowed out to Macau to help him and they wouldn't allow a box off at light welter because they wanted the extra fighter at the Olympics. Simply a case of the ABA and BOA thinking they knew best and had the best people in when they didn't and in doing so lost their best gold medal opportunity.
