He lost to Valdez, but Monzon beat him more convincingly, KO'd by both also he whupped Minter's ass in what I think was a bit of surprise to folks some time later. I think he sort of faded after that surprise win.
I'm good with a face, but don't have much of a good face myself.
I will admit, I was once a big Monzon fan, and this is why I got this one. I will also say, that I do recognize that Monzon turned out to be a truly great boxer, and a very bad human being.
So...I am opinionated in a way similar to another poster here. But I won't bore you with my rantings on that subject.
Now I'm going to record book to see if got this guy right...but I'd be willing to be a months pay on it.
