i'm fvcked if i could bother to give specifics, but i heard at least 90 seconds of pure crap, where 'i have the style to beat Froch, his weaknesses are 'X' and that will play into my strength of 'Y' or whatever, would have done, but he chose to stick with the 'i'm winning the mind games so maybe I should be afvourite and he should be underdog'. yeah, sure.

what makes me laugh is that froch spent 2/3 years slagging off calzaghe when joe was the man and now he doesn't like it done to him .

Does all the bull Groves has said add up to anything like the international superstar bit by Froch or that the Ward fight was close and Ward nicked it by running or that Froch has only been beaten once since he reversed a defeat v Kessler?

Groves needs blaming. it is all his fault. he even called froch "sweetheart" when they were sat on the couch backstage.
That is direspectful to say the least. Groves is to blame and will feel the wrath of a pissed of Froch come fight night.
I see him clubbed early.

Yeah, maybe George couldn't help himself; Froch is a nice looking guy and he might have been giving out the wrong signals

Then admitted that he wouldn't be able to outpoint him and would have to knock a man with an iron chin and excellent defence out for the count to beat him.

Groves is a funny man, I think he's got Froch' number mentally.

I think he's a bit of a prick to be honest. They both are. The best outcome for this fight is if they landed simultaneously and knocked each other out.

We're all different though and find different things funny; I like Groves and think he's done a good job of winding Froch up and lets remember it's not Sir Carl Froch or Lord Froch.

I agree. However I think since the Degale fight where Groves's was the one on the end of the trash talking and particularily since he's spent a lot of time with Adam Booth, he's become a smug little git. Froch is arrogant aswell no doubt.

Groves is just a clone of David Haye. Watch his interviews and he has the same mannerisms, says the same words, delivers them in the same tone and manner etc. He's just white and ginger so it seems slightly different. I like him though, as I do Haye.

Haha, thanks. I can just see that everything they do/say is part of the show. In no way do I believe that is their actual persona. groves probably has picked up the bad parts of Haye's personality though, which is a shame.

Let's hope not or he will be pulling out this afternoon.

Do you think his chin would actually hold up for the 12 rounds though?

Froch wants Groves to call him 'Carl' or 'Mr Froch' - he really is used to getting his own way and outside of McCracken and Hearn must be surrounded by arse lickers; he seems to feel it is incomprehensible that someone would answer him back or question his outlook. On the SKY sports bit where he and his family were in the pizza restaurant the waiter calls him mate and his face looked like a slapped arse. Froch is used to being at the top of the pyramid and only designated people who have been vetted (by him) are able to give an opinion without it being seen as insolent and as a wider attack on the sport itself.

What do you mean outside of them?! Hearn does it himself!

I know you think that Froch will win but do you see some of the things I am seeing or am I imagining these things?
