Was an awful stoppage and to be fair nobody wins. A amazing fight gets tainted, Froch doesn't have a chance to record an incredible, heroic victory (which I think would have happened), Groves doesn't get a chance to carry on the fight (that he was winning) and everybody is left feeling robbed in one way or another.palooka wrote:I can see where you're coming from and we'll agree to disagree; for me, Froch is not the boxer/fighter he was and in decline, Groves is superior than him and is improving. Froch was lucky to get the win though for me Groves has gained an awful lot and Froch has lost a fair bit, his post bout interview was horrible, he loses fans when he opens his mouth, Groves was the moral victor.
I am of the thinking that is was Groves making Froch look worse than he was rather than age. Groves is going to be fun and undoubtedly a world champion.
