Yes, mate. The gf played today and won. She plays tomorrow first on. I got up here two days ago from Brisbane where I was doing some sparring with Jarrod Fletcher.. fun time up there. Its a shame about Murray, but I heard Murray is getting 300k for the Sturm fight. Good for him.

I am still in Melbourne guys. I am staying over off Canterbury road. Just 10 minutes or so from Melbourne Park where the tennis is being played. Irina plays in the main Draw of singles at the open on Monday!!! I would love to come check out your gym. I will give it a look tomorrow on FB and then see when I can make it down. I will be in Australia until Feb. 10, mates. :-). I just got back from sparring a week with jarrod Fletcher, who has got a new opponent now!!

Hey, I am a very experienced american with some very high profile guys on my boxing record and I am alreay over in Australia, so I dont see why not someone from here. I would save a promoter tons on travel adn flights since i am already here. Mundine card would be ideal and it turns out Mundine is fighting a guy I just fought.. Carson Jones. And irina plays tomorrow and i hope you all follow it. She is def. the favorite to win in the first round and then she would meet the winner of Venus Williams and another girl..

Irina advanced to the second round of the Australian open and would have played Venus Williams, had Venus won, but she plays E. makarova on Wednesday. tune in fellas. You might see my pretty face on the tv. :-). And, I think anybody on here knows I will fight while down here in Aussie.. For the Carson fight,. Carson came in 12 pounds over the contract limit and I could have walked with my paycheck in all, but I said hell no, and fought anyways. I trained and flew all that way, I was fighting. It is what us fighters do, we fight. Eventually the weight showed after some pretty heavy body punches and my pops had seen enough so he through the towel in. It was very unprofessional on Carsons part for sure. But, Bobby Dobbs his manager, made it as right as he could and treated us well. Anyways, Wednesday, Australian Open.... Irina falconi... VAMOS>>.

She made a great run. Second round of the Australian Open is a big feat at 23. Grand Slam champ and Aussie Sam Stosur only made it to the third round. My gf is on track and she will get there. Extremely happy for her. Now, its time for me to do something while I am down here. LOL. Still crossing my fingers that I get a fight while I am here. I am leaving Australia feb. 10. So, hope something comes through or someone locks me down while I am over here.
