Too many fans are quite selfish in wanting to see their favourite fighter back in the ring, invariably they are never the same and all it does is damage their record and reputation.
The difference with Hatton was that all the Alcohol and drug abuse, plus weight ballooning had took it's toll, he as still young, but he looked much older.
