Jack Palance was reportedly a boxer around the time of WWII, I think the war may have killed his career off.

I hadn't realised till I looked it up how little information there is on Palance's boxing career. He has an intriguing 0-0-0 record on boxrec.

He fought under the name Brazzos, not Palance. His career record is an intriguing 0-1-0, with a decision loss to future contender Joe Baski. But he claimed to have had other fights.

Funny thing is they have Jack Palance listed with his alias of Jack Brazzo and Jack Brazzo listed separately with his alias of Jack Palance.

All I know is that he took the name "Palance" long after he quit boxing.

This is the correct answer for question A. Paul Anderson, still considered one if the strongest men to ever live had a brief 4 fight professional career.

Anderson still holds the record for the most weight lifted off the face of the earth by a human. Pudz would be close, but he's a professional mixed martial artist, not boxer.
