Sturm v Macklin would be better
I'd love to see Sturm v GGG but more chance of the pope converting to Islam than that one :(

True, but I get the impression that Sturm likes to do just enough to nick rounds whereas Murray can sometimes look slow and ponderous - I can't imagine that this is a deliberate tactic.

I think murray's a bit big for the weight, whereas sturm, as you say, does just enough - saves his energy for the next fight, especially at home.
would like to see one of these up the pace and the variety.
this is murray's 3rd chance so I'd like to see him really go for it.

Calzaghe ruled a much weaker division. He would be second best to Ward too.

Murray sounded very unhappy on the Bunce show last night. Said basically he didnt know what was going on was kept in the dark and wasnt even told about the Quillin offer.

During his "reign", Calzaghe was clear number one for two years at the most.
From the Lacy fight until he moved up to light heavy.
