Selby just seems to have that talent, that swagger, that carefree attitude. he gets the wins and he doesn't look like he's tried that hard. he'll get guided to a world title. vs munroe he was able to dominate and look casual at the same time. he carries himself like he's too good for this level and that gives a lot of confidence to promoters and sends a great message for the sanctioning bodies if they're watching. he does seem to do some things wrong but is able to produce a really good finish (Stephen smith, notably). has that look of someone who'll do his best work at a level above domestic and European - whether i's an illusion or will prove to be true remains to be seen.

Thought I did a thread on this a while ago.
Thought it was worth a re visit now Lee is mandatory after last night. Was impressed with him last night but still can't wonder whether he was class or Brunker was poor and make him look that good.
Anyway just watched Gradovich for the first time ( his last fight in Macau in May
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fB7O6gx0rCU )
Looks a pretty solid boxer good movement good jab good power defence looks a little supspect. The guy he beat was European champ before Selby and whilst Gradovich outclassed him it was quite competitive and Gradovich got floored by a jab in round 6.
Next fight is against Velez ( sure he was talked as a Selby opponent due to a high WBC ranking) on the Crawford Beltran card at the end of November.
Gradovich v Selby looks a very good fight I think Lee can beat him. If he does it will be down to speed and variety.

I think he'd have a very good chance of beating Gradovich and in the UK I'd make Selby the favorite.

Almost anyone can become a champ these days. Better question is can he beat Gradovich, the guy they are targeting. He definitely have skills to trouble him, bit I would still take Gradovich to win.

I really rate Selby and if his chin is as good as they say I think we have a potential World unified champion.

Can't lie and say I've seen much of Selby.
Regardless of his opponent on Saturday, I thought Selby looked good.
He has a hell of an arsenal.
He threw punches from all angles with both hands, his combinations were fluid and he could mix it both upstairs and down.
His movement, positioning, timing and all round flow was spot on.
There didn't appear to be any stamina problems and he took one or two punches along the way himself, part of his defence that of the mover/blocker style on the run worked for him.
Many other things could said but he scored above average on performance that's for sure.
World Titles, I'll have to take a closer look but I certainly want to see him again.
