Im one sense I agree with you, in that this is a very risky and ambitious fight for Haye.

P.S. OFF TOPIC. Just got back from my local 'Art house' Cinema having seen a Japanese film called 'Zatoichi' about a blind Samuria it was fantatic!!!! I highly reoommend it.

yeah i dont see it as an easy fight, but an early stoppage wont be surprising, Be very interesting to see how Williams' rates Haye's power

Has it occured to anyone that Arthur Williams is probably better than anyone Audley Harrison has fought? And I don't mean pound for pound, I mean Williams is better than any of the Cruisers Audley has fought and would probably outpoint Julius Francis too.

thats what i meant when i said:

It's not like Williams is the same level as opponent as Julius, and thats not even in a p4p sense.

Up to this point, i'd say Krence is better than any Haye opponent, but i think he was underestimated, and he gave Audley some problems. But Arthur Williams is better than anyone Audley has fought despite the size advantage audley would have.

Does anyone know the odds for king arthur?

damn country you can't bet on anyone. i'm going to find out arthur is a 4/1 shot or something.

Arthur Williams wouldnt be a bad opponent for Johhny Nelson.

IMO Haye might be sent to sleep.

No. Pickering-Martin is the main event and Oboh-Lowe is chief support (a better fight than Haye-Williams IMO). Then comes Haye's eight-rounder.

King Arthur is certainly a step up but I am not sure how much ambition the old dog has left. What a few people are overlooking is that since 2003 he is 2-2 and BOTH wins were against boxers with losing records. Last time out, Tokarev (who I rate) won almost every round and in my opinion your man could just be after a few paydays now. It's 'GOOD' match-making for me. I have massive faith in Haye and this fight should tell us whether the kid is the goods or not. I am backing the Londoner with a weeks wages tonight. The 4/9 (Bluesquare) should be nearer 2/7 in my view. Can't wait for it.

Well lets look at the Americans last opponent, Vadim Tokarev.

Tokarev has a recent draw on his record against Firat Arslan, who is the guy that stopped Mark Hobson on a bad cut. I seem to remember Arslan looked very very strong and tough but Hobson was pissing the fight using his skills despite looking knackered the whole time. He was very unlucky to lose that night.

Now Tokerev only managed to draw with this Arslan, which would suggest that he too struggled with the strength of the guy but couldn't find a way to overcome it like Hobson was doing.

However Tokerev still manages a virtual shut-out over Williams a few months later. Perhaps the American just went over to Russia to get away from his wife for a bit, or maybe he has really slipped badly. Either way I'm starting to fancy a Haye win on points without much fuss. I feel he wants the name first and foremost and will fight boring to get it.

If I had to bet my house I'd go for Haye on points, but I'm betting on Williams because Haye really looks a bit chinny. The American knocked down O'Neil Bell just over a year ago, and was ahead on points when it was stopped. Plus he should be sharp, as he had a ten rounder two weeks ago.

now i see its a 8 rounder I facy Haye more, thought it was a 10 or 12 before.....

Haye came in pretty heavy at 199

The Haye points win is available at a thoroughly decent 6/4.
