John Simpson is as game as a badger and is in with a shout, Murray didn't look a million dollars last time out (or the time before that), he is the more active fighter and I reckon Coyle would beat Murray - styles make fights and Crolla would have boxed John with sharp and hurtful punches and he is on game from the first bell - Murray takes a couple of rounds to get going and John can get into a good rhythm early on.

John Murray will stop Simpson no doubt about it.

Stylistically this is a better fight and one Simpson has a better chance if winning. Crolla would have boxed Simpson all night and would find it hard to argue how he could beat Crolla. But Murray is better fight as John won't have to look for him, likewise for Murray. Simpson loves these types if fights but still got to fancy Murray to win but will be good while it lasts.

Styles make fights & Murray is a championship fighter at L.Weight & as Billy say's has been in with Rios so could prove a tuff ask. On the flip side Simpson will make weight comfrotablaly and I'm sure Murray struggles to make L.Weight so might struggle and with inactivity too? Never write Simpson off.... & all down to game plans

People thought the Coyle fight looked good. It was a mismatch. I don't like this fight. Even less than the Crolla fight. I hope I'm wrong but only way I see this going is a stoppage for Murray
I agree Murray's too big for Simpson.

Coyles not a big puncher at the weight but Murray can punch a bit. Bad choice of opponent in my opinion.

Mismatch IMO and no disrespect at all intended to John Simpson with that. I just think Murray is far too big for him and will stop him.

John at Superfeather/Feather is a solid domestic fighter much better than his record suggests. He was arguably on the wrong end of a hometown decision against Smith ( only saw the second fight) and put in a class performance to beat Lindsay in his own backyard.

Simpson should be back at Featherweight, but I do feel with Murray though he is a confidence fighter. I haven't seen him since Rios but always have a feeling he will never be the same after Mitchell. The manner of that defeat, all of a sudden that aura that he could walk through anything was gone.

One I unfortunately do not want to see. John Simpson has been undoubtedly my fav domestic level fighter for years and I want to see him continue to be competative.

All I can see is Murray being too big, too strong and gringing Simmo down - the guy taken a beating from Rios for more that half an hour so cant see Simmo making a dent in him. If it is at lightweight then maybe Murray will be drained.

Would love Simpson to pull off the upset but I cant see it.

Bit of a joke fight really.
Why?
One has fought for world titles at lightweight whilst the other isnt even the best at the weight in britain.

World title, a fight he hadn't really earned to be fair. Add to that John's inactivity and I don't really see anything wrong with it at all.

That can be argued but he was a legitimate european champion.

Yeah, three or so years ago. It's been how long since he fought Rios? Two years?

Well he was out because of a failed medical.

Right...the reason for the lay off doesn't negate the lay off, does it?

I agree but it doesnt automatically mean that John has declined that much over that time.

We'll take that everyday of the week, Troy Vs Simpson would be a war, definite candidate for a fight of year, I guarantee that, two little tough men who don't know how to take a step back,
But has for Wadi Vs Chris :OhYes: I'd put my house on it Chris knocks him flat out inside 3 rounds.

Gutted for Crolla, absolute lovely guy, a win here would of definitely put him right in picture for a big fight, he'll be back all the better for it in the summer though I'd say.

Has far has Murray Vs Simpson, it depends on a few factors, namely the main one's being how Murray makes the weight & if inactivity affects him, but common sense would say he'll just be too big, too strong & hit too hard for Simpson who is a very tough man, but at featherweight, against a very big, tough, hard hitting L/W - L/W/W

Every time I watch Camacho, he doesnt seem to be aware of punches coming back at him. It's bizarrre.

In the beginning *mainly because of his hair and race I think* people tried comparing him to Haye. He never was/ is as talented as Haye. It's farcical.

Camacho is a 3 round fighter, he likes to stumble forward trying to land his big left hand without any worries that his defence is shockingly absent, just like his footwork. Soon has he has had his 3 rounds or he can't knock you out he shoots his bolt (so to speak lol) and runs out of ideas, same has when he's pushed onto his back foot it's like he's never boxed in his life, falls apart and doesn't have a clue, falls over his own feet, balance is terrible, Soon has Chris landed on him I guarantee he'd go and good chances are he wouldn't get up for the count.
Chris already beat him in the nations final has a Am, he ran round the ring for the whole fight like his life depended on it. The fight has got to be made sooner or later, there's no obstacles on our behalf for it not too at anytime.
