That not true he still will make major decisions but Eubank jnr I dont think falls into that cateogry

Sitting on the fence... promoters/managers have a right to make money from a boxer and vice versa ...

But i really do think boxers should not " bite the hand that has fed them " so long as everyone makes some decent cash who cares who's promoting - so long as the promoter is getting the decent fights/paydays for the fighter?

The manager also has to take some credit too in picking the right fights at the right time too.

Also this is a dangerous game - and the boxers are the ones who ultimately put it all on the line and make the sacrifices with training, making weight, going away to training camp etc. etc.

Although i don't know any promoters/managers I have read a fair bit on Barry Hearn and watched a program solely on him and he came across well.

Herbie Hide in his biography (yes I read it) - spoke highly of Barry Hearn (if my memory serves me right)- Barry I think is an ex chartered accountant or something and looks after his fighters very well - obviously he makes money too.

Eddie Hearn did well in securing the fight for Darren Barker and a career best pay day.

When Eubank junior gets to the higher levels maybe he can self promote/manager etc.

Right now he needs a decent promoter who can get him fights and to step up in class - he has the talent - just hope he uses it as he has done well so far...

John Shepherd (BoxRec founder) used to promote fight cards and put some pretty good nights together but in all honesty; he is not a greedy man just out for himself; he was decent before he was a promoter decent when he was and is decent now; he'd make sure everyone involved was alright. Some other people are very mercenary and as long as they're alright that's all that matters.

I think it would make good business sense for Fwank's TV channel, if not for his promotional stable - assuming Eubank jnr wouldn't want to sign a long term deal. Getting a name like Eubank would be worth a thousand Skeete's in terms of trying to attract new subscribers and create a bit more interest.

He needs to concentrate on his boxing, win a title then come out with the chit like this, his latest tweet

Amazing how things change in boxing, at one time Warren could hardly work with any other promoters, now he is the main outlet.

John shepherd use to look after me when first started really top man

Eubank Jr would be a great addition to the team
I think it's great what he's doing with allegedly and working with other promoters within time fans will start getting fed up with Fast car shows in particularly the undercards.

To this day I can't help but think Ricky would of fought the likes of Broner or Vazquez had he stayed with Fwank.

Really like Eubanks development in his first few fights. Take his name out the equation and just look at the names on his record. Pretty impressive roster for a 12 fight novice with little am experience.

I like eubank jr people seem very keen to write him off, hopefully he will stay with mick and move to allegedly.
