Bet 365 giving 16/1 for Abell to win by ko, tko or DQ, now thats worth a few quid at mo
Don't do it mate. Fat Fury beats any version of Abell.Old bones Ian wrote:Bet 365 giving 16/1 for Abell to win by ko, tko or DQ, now thats worth a few quid at mo
I love Fury and am a big fan but I wouldn't attempt to deny he talks utter rubbish and probably has no control over what is coming out of his mouth. I don't mean it to be insulting - he is a natural talker and I think he knows full well that it is an asset, in terms of marketing himself, being interesting and all that. There is no consistency. The other day he was saying that skill means little, and as long as he is tough and can get up from a knockdown, his toughness will get him through any fight. I was a bit gutted, I want him to do well and would rather hear him talk about improving his skills. If he really does think that, he should watch Ward vs Froch.[/quote]JimJim2009 wrote:5 years ago on ITV4 I think, Fury announced he already had a "million quid"....summat like that, I think those exact words in fact. 3 or 4 months ago I saw one of his interviews that was posted on to Boxrec. He said something about David Haye taking "money" out of his kids' mouths. He then said he has no money! It was real quick, easy to miss. I like him too but I don't think he's loaded.
According to BoxRec the highest weight of Fury's career was 270 pounds in the McDermott rematch, and the next heaviest was 268 pounds when he fought Zack Page. Compare that to when he fought Cunningham (254) and Maddalone (245) and Rogan (245), this speaks volumes. Fury at his best is between 245-255, the fact that at a weigh-in (clothes or no clothes) weighing 274 pounds is amazingly disappointing. You have to figure by tomorrow, he's going to weigh in maybe 280 pounds.jameswilson wrote:Chisora - 17st2lbs - 240lbs

Yes that one. He was exhausted from early on though.mickey1975 wrote:The one he knocked John out in?Final round wrote:Remember how quickly he ran out of gas against John McDermott in the rematch when he weighed 270..He better get Armbell out of there quick.
