5 or 6 years ago (ITV4 again) his Dad said that George Foreman would have hammered the Klitschkos, and that Tyson was "five times better than Formeman". So it's no surprise he says some strange things.

I think he must be one of the most entertaining fighters since Ali, got to be. He's very, very frank and honest, even when he's talking rubbish he honestly believes it!

Just bought my first copy of Boxing News in quite a while yesterday. The special feature is a write up on Tyson. A couple of things stood out for me, one of which comes to mind now......regarding facing Chisora later in the year...."if you've beaten a man once, you'll always find a way to beat him......"

so on that basis, I am not planning to listen to the Froch Groves match now that I know who the winner will be..........That line right there is total BS. Lots of fighters have been beaten - beaten well in some cases, only to turn the table in a rematch.

According to BoxRec the highest weight of Fury's career was 270 pounds in the McDermott rematch, and the next heaviest was 268 pounds when he fought Zack Page. Compare that to when he fought Cunningham (254) and Maddalone (245) and Rogan (245), this speaks volumes. Fury at his best is between 245-255, the fact that at a weigh-in (clothes or no clothes) weighing 274 pounds is amazingly disappointing. You have to figure by tomorrow, he's going to weigh in maybe 280 pounds.

I know alot of people are projecting that without clothes Fury weighs in at about 268, but that still means he's going to be well over 270 pounds tomorrow. As a Fury fan, it does disappoint me because it wasn't long ago that Tyson said "Since Cunningham I've sparred hundreds of rounds, ran countless miles, so it is not like I am not in shape." That may be the case, but what I am seeing isn't post training weight, that is natural walking around weight.

I know it is hard to get psyched up for someone like Joey Abell, but I would of expected a little bit more. This doesn't change my opinion that this match goes between 4-6 rounds, with Fury winning, however I think it does speak volumes of his emotional/mental makeup at this point and time in his career. It's going to take a real contender, or even a title fight I think to snap him out of this funk.

Yes that one. He was exhausted from early on though.

If you remember tho, wasn't it 1 of the hottest nights of the year? They were book suffering.

It's the Fatty Arbuckle version that fought so well against John McDermott.
