Charles Sheppard and Peter Judson, I wouldn't say lucky, just grafted there's arses off and maximised there potential

Del Bryan and Chris Saunders overcame early losses and disappointments to become really good British Title level boxers - they could have got really fed up and packed in but kept at it and improved - Geoff McCreash as well did very well, he never seemed the most talented but he got some good scalps and did himself proud.

najib daho did well after a mixed start only won 4 of his first 11 fights ,british and commonwealth champ and fought for the IBF title .....tough guy

Ricky Burns has been lucky to this point so far

Multiple defences and some great names on his record suggest he's more than lucky

I would not call him lucky at all. He's a good fighter with a huge heart but i dont subscribe to there being some great names on his record. I cant even think of one genuine "great" name on there.
