This has literally made my week!! I have enjoyed Curtis's story from start to finish!! I was that desperate to watch the fight that I had to watch it on my phone in the reception area to get a wifi signal.. Was all worth it when I heard and the #New.. Well done mate hope you enjoy your retirement!

Over the moon for Curtis and all his team, cant imagine the feeling of achievement having fulfilled his dream. Im not flavour of the month offshore for waking the lads up in the cabins round about me, shouting and cheering for him, but them's the breaks haha

As a big football fan I find myself more and more alienated by much of the excess associated with the top level of that sport (Rooney £300k a week anyone?!) and even more admiring of the heart, guts, dedication and true sportsmanship that makes boxing so great. For someone from the football world to do what Curtis has done restores my faith in humanity. Massive congratulations to the man.

if curtis is gonna retire id say its time for sky to ditch the mediocre jim watt and replace him with woodhouse or have him on the panel of the shows,every show,he is a joy to listen to and the general public like this guy too. how did jim watt have him 4 rounds down its a joke he is constantly getting decisions wrong exept for mayweather fights were a blind man can tell you the scores of his fights.
