GBP have conveyor belt of fighters, they are renowned for matching their fighters with anyone, that's why they are not good builders of fighters, so they don't mind making this, they put Khan in with Maidana and Broner, not to mention Ortiz, two of them got beat, one hung on by the skin of his teeth, all got hurt.

I hope it happens I really do, just surprising with how a loss for eaither could be devastatiing carrer wise.

this fight could've been way bigger, had at least one managed to keep their world title. it could even have been khan's way to a pound for pound ranking and a PPV headliner in its own right.
now, it certainly makes some sense for broner, because khan beat maidana (who beat broner).
and it is a high profile fight for khan. broner is somewhat flat footed which could suit amir, AND he started as a super feather (ticks all the boxes?).

There is close to no chance that this is an undercard fight. Broner, despite the Maidana loss, has not gone from a PPV fighter on his own to a jobbing undercard fighter.

Broner was never a PPV fighter and he was never that good, just a lot of hype, Maidana ruined all that so he has little hope of anything but undercard fights for now.
