BNews does not have a great deal of cash to plough into it. They don't generate very much revenue at all so you need to bear this in mind. Just be grateful you still have the choice to buy it. Times are hard in print publications and boxing doesn't generate much revenue.

It difficult pulling in boxing news on a weekly basis, especially during the baron months of Dec / Jan when there is very little to write about.

So they have to plunder America and Europe for fights and content, which would be relevant to boxing readers.

Personally I have no problem where the boxing news comes from, I dont follow fights o demograhic grounds - hence Miguel Cotto & Kostya Tszyu being my faves.

If not for BN and BM I wouldn't have gotten to know what they were up to until the recent 'internet' years.

If the lack of locality news is an issue for some, then perhaps if the number of pages they can print is a constraint, they could overflow stuff to their website (which i think they do)

Put another way around, 1 in every 300 people who describe themselves as being very interested in boxing buy the Boxing News.
And the one thing I can tell you about that data having worked at a major publishing company is that it's borderline useless at best and almost certainly inaccurate at worst.
I thought it sold about 90,000??
