Need to price it well to sell out. Terrible views, queues galore on the train ( especially after ) and sod all pubs in the local area ( really is eff all about, which is mad considering its the centre piece of English sport )

This is the kind of fight which makes me wish we had gotten the big mega-casinos we were promised years ago, but were ultimately vetoed - at least then there'd be plenty to do before and after the fight, and plenty of space for everyone, rather than tens of thousands of people roaming the streets pissed with nothing to do, and no way of getting home.

Hate to be a killjoy, but think I'll give this one a miss.

I'll get a few people round and get shitfaced at home.

From a selfish point of view I was hoping the Emirates as it's a phenomenal stadium and I think would offer the best views.

The more I think about it though the more I hope it's in Cardiff. Easily 60k in there and with the roof shut will be an incredible atmosphere...

Very unlikely to be at Wembley. With the football less than 24 hours earlier, it would only take a small downpour to force a cancellation of the fight. My guess is that the possibility of Wembley has been deliberately leaked to boost interest ahead of a northern stadium being announced.

I'm not doubting the intentions of the story, but I simply can't see it being a practical solution. How foolish will all involved be if the fight has to be cancelled because they are unable to prepare in time? I'll happily have my doubts answered, but it just doesn't make sense.

I'm a little surprised at the doubt, too. Boxing 'announcements' like Eddie's later are almost never a surprise to anyone when they happen. They're typically 'confirmations' instead.

If its Wembley i wont be going, that simple. I think the only fight in the world id bother going to wembley to watch would be Mayweather vs Pacquaiao just to say i was there type of thing.

The view will be terrible, the logistical side will be a nightmare .

The give away was when all the security lads had to get booked in quick before the hotel rooms rocketed in price !
I'm disappointed to be fair but from a business perspective opportunities like this to make serious dough don't come along very often.

If any one wants a tip for Hotels the Watford Travelodge is £44. Only a short train ride from Wembley Central, and you don't have to battle with every one else heading into London.

A disappointing choice. I won't be going. Which I'm sure Eddie can live with.

How much for the cheap seats do we think?

Yep places like Watford and even Harrow are a good bet to avoid the crowds back into London after as most will be going that way

Must admit I'm not exactly buzzing for this. Lazcano-Hatton was the last footie stadium fight I went to, sat lower tier square on and was still too far to see anything meaningful, just ended up watching the screen.

I've become less interested in going these things 'for the atmosphere', it is more important for me to get a good view and see the fight at least in a half-decent manner. I think I'll be watching this at a house gathering or in a decent bar, just can't be arsed with getting ripped off for a crap view or paying through the nose to get near to ringside.

Plus the amount of absolute dick heads there were at Froch-Groves in Manchester puts me off even more, this is clearly going to be a casuals fight and 90-100k casuals is gona be no fun at all.
