Hey im just going by previous as anytime i had to travel to watch my bro fight i had a mate with me that wanted to go (honest ) , my mate was convinced he saw Dave Coldwell in the Strippers after a fight in altrincham one night after a fight we were at.

For people who are up in the gods don't worry, if you was in the same seat for a football match and a fight broke out in the middle of the pitch your see it ! This is a raised ring with the spot light on it at night time, your see it !

Same attitude as me, just gota be there!

The main thing for me and these arena shows is to get a decent view you'll need to fork out at least £200 for tickets and non of my mates would pay that much for a boxing match.

Don't really fancy going on my own; I do go to shows but prefer smaller venues.

Also the undercard will most likely be poo.

Oh and I'll be Thailand at the time!

It'll be 7am dodgy bar in Bangkok for me!

Get out of here!! Been to 75% of Froch's fights in the last 6-7 years. The poll confirms that massive stadium fights are not appealing to hardcore boxing fans.

I'll be there ringside, always get invited by clients ticket on the house, lot to be said for corporate hospitality, at the O2 this weekend for ufc also on the house in a box with free during and food, no one likes to hear that!! :)

I think, as someone who has been to about 7 or 8 big stadium shows, there is a lot to dislike about them if you are a more hardcore boxing fan than a casual:

-Poor view unless you pay hundreds and hundreds of pounds;

-Risk of bad weather in an open air arena which (pardon the pun) can really put a dampener on the evening (Haye v Klitschko in mind here);

-Generally attended in the main by people who have little knowledge of the sport and who are mainly there just to get slaughtered;

-Surprisingly poor atmosphere at most even though the crowds are much bigger; and

-Huge queues for beers and food meaning time wasted.

I'm sounding really negative but I just much prefer indoor arenas like the MEN, O2 or the Echo Arena for fights and this is from someone who has spent thousands in total going to boxing shows over the last 15 years.

I can see why people are excited about the prospect of going but I'm a bit weary with these type of events nowadays.

I agree with every point but I'll still be going because I see it as too big to miss. Froch Bute atmosphere was electric and was only around a 10th of the attendance that might turn up at Wembley.

I now won't even been watching on the TV, sadly.

I'll be going simply to say "I was there". There have only been 2 shows at Wembley Stadium in my lifetime and none in close to 20 years. I will pay my £30, soak up the atmosphere, have a night out in London and get the first train home where I'll watch the whole thing properly.
