Ha ha, I just remember him saying that after some up and comer was calling him out, he said you can hit 9 darters at home all day long, but when you walk out on to the stage with 8,000 people there and the cameras on you it's a different story, then he basically said "you can't practice shitting yourself"

I got this years ago for Christmas; as a boy. It was riveting. The best quotes are from Randall tex Cobb - there's a whole chapter on him. A funny bastard even when he was getting a beating
