Why are we gonna fight Ronnie then ? He hasn't got nothing for us, so unfortunately for Ronnie that's the way this is :TU:

We're above him in rankings, were 2X unbeaten area champion which is good with area council, we've fought better opposition, and we've already won a British title eliminator against a top 10 fighter.
The board don't see it that way.. It will be fight or lose your position by the looks of it.. It will be down to you guys.. If you pull out the purse bids in sure someone else will be pushed forward

We'll see, but I guarantee you the same has I told you the Clark Vs Kays fight was never gonna happen, this fight won't either, unless something good is on the line.

You really seem to want the fight with Troy though. Why ?

Do you think Troy will be easier than Hughes ? :OhYes:

Hes refused Maxi twice, his last fight Ronnie had 2 broken hands recovering and ask the board they refused him until his surgeon signed him and the 2nd was is in May, Ronnie fights middle of April on a home show in Paisley. Thats understandable surely? Would you take a top 10 fighter on if you were in Tommys position? an honest answer please
What Tommy Gilmour wants and gets are two different things, he doesn't really hold any power in British boxing, he has no TV deal, no promoter to work with to get his fighters on TV, most of his shows are dinner shows that don't see particularly big attendances and he just isn't a power player in British boxing. Gethin-Flanagan has been put out to purse bids, FW will win those, if he then asks for Troy James and Joe Murray to fight for the English title in a final eliminator, both of those on the undercard of Frankie Gavin's fight in Birmingham in the summer, I can't see the board saying no and Tommy Gilmour will have little influence on the decision.

If it wont happen thats fine but stop trying to use Maxi Hughes and saying Ronnie ducked it the fact is hes just been signed back to fight. Nobody in their right mind takes a 10 rounder with a fighter like Maxi a fight before an eliminator unless the board call for it! You have always seemed very honest and you know for a fact you wouldnt do it. The fight wont happen because you boys dont want it! simple as that

They can't take someone out of a final eliminator don't be so silly.. This fight will happen unless James pulls out of purse bids.. Ronnie will fight a final eliminator or for the title. Tommy is very shrewd and has got Ronnie in position now..

They can take someone out of a final eliminator, if allegedly wants the final eliminator on Frankie Gavin's undercard, he will want Troy James' opponent to be one of his fighters, if he asks the board for that, they could easily say yes, they make the rules and apply them, it's up to them what they want to do. Tommy Gilmour vs allegedly and co, who's going to be in favour with the board?

JaimeM, I am a honest guy, I say it how it is mate, please believe me when I tell you Troy would gladly fight Ronnie, with all due respect I've watched Ronnie live, and he wouldn't beat Troy in any department, I guarantee this Troy would knock Ronnie Flat out mate, lRonnie's a good kid, tough & comes to fight, but that will be his undoing, trust me mate, we're not ducking Ronnie Clark out of fear, if he's got something worth while for us, we'd fight him in Scotland, in April :TU:

If that happens then boxing is an embarrassment and Troy James team are an embarrassment. He was always needing to fight a final eliminator and its been called. If Ronnie doesnt do what you want you wont fight haha, unreal! So Ronnie fights in April, May then possibly fights troy James in June or risks an injury in which you are hoping!

Why don't you contact Tommy try and move the eliminator then?? I've seen Troy fight a few times he wouldn't knock Ronnie out.. Ryan Walsh is a better fighter in all departments than Troy and look how that fight went.. If your that confident make the fight

It's not an embarrassment, it's called politics, they've been around boxing for centuries and always will be, some promoters hold more sway with the powers that be than others, just the way it is.

Have you watched Troy live, up close and seen & heard ? I don't think so mate.

And let's get it right, Walsh isn't a puncher, despite what his record suggests, and he's a SuperBantam so stop living off Ronnie's draw with him, I was in Norwich at that show, the fight wasn't amazing mate, and if Walsh used his head he would of clearly beat Ronnie but got into his usual macho bullshit, IMO Walsh still won, it was close but he won

In my eyes it's simple then. What's the problem easy fight for Troy??

daviddee, No problem in fighting Ronnie, never said there was, your just getting it mistaken, Ronnie's got nothing to offer us, no higher ranking, no title, no big money, no follow on title guarantee, nothing, boxing is a business mate, start to understand it :TU:

I'll repeat for last time, we would/will gladly take fight with Ronnie, but got to be worth while, no problem on our behalf then :box:

TRUST ME I WONT GET KNOCKED OUT!!! I asked to fight Maxi Hughes up in Scotland on April 12th @ Paisley Lagoon, so Dave Coldwell may expect that call ;) I don't like politics and I don't like lies or stories!!!

Its a final eliminator thats whats on offer in a division where there seems to be a massive opening. If you then dont see that as concrete then why fight Chris Male who was ranked Lower than Ronnie and is also only really fought the weight under? You are contradicting yourself, Seems common in boxing, are you friends with Carl Froch?

I like you Ronnie, I genuinely do bro, I like you willingness & attitude, politics are Shi t but it's part of the game, it's business.

I'm sure you can easily make that Hughes fight now like I said before for 9th May, and it could be for eliminator, ask ya team to do there job instead of you hanging around to long, then I guarantee we can fight :TU: good luck mate

He the business is a final eliminator to fight for the British Title.. What you needed to do anyway against the winner of Kay's v Clark.. You still have that final eliminator. You said fight him April I said contact Tommy.. Sure the board would sanction it if Tommy agreed.. If not try and win the purse bids..

This is too good, you sir are very amusing and will make me sleep with a smile tonight:P

Why should I always fight away from home ;) I don't get a fair verdict! They won't come here to me in Scotland! I don't mean to be rude but I bring you guys a British Title Final Eliminator! You say Troy will beat me?! Let's just make it happen and not dodge me like everyone else! ;)

In fairness Ronnie, you don't bring us nothing lol, we already would of had the final eliminator after losing out to Kays Vs Sykes anyway, you ain't even had a eliminator yet.

True, you shouldn't have to always be the away fighter, word of advice, get a better team :TU:
