If little Thad Spencer could easily beat ET, Frazier would beat him more easily. Quarry knocked Spencer out in his next fight after Thad beat up Terrell. A prime Cleveland Williams stopped Terrell, and Williams was a crude swinger by any measure. Basically Erie was a skinny, spindly, tall, inept fighter with no right hand and 2 left feet. Ali called him "The 1-armed bandit, because everybody knows he has no right hand and he stole half my title."

ET would make a prime Gerry Cooney look like a genius.

Maybe more like a "beat UP".

Not up very far... Terrell was only 3 inches taller than Ali... Chamberlain was 10 X the athlete and 7 inches taller than Terrell -- and about 80 pounds heavier.. Spencer was a small Heavyweight but he had more heft in his shots.. Ernie was lucky to finish.

Very little respect either for that matter.
Contrary to the vast majority here, though, I see Terrell troubling Joe for quite a bit longer than the five rounds that seems to be the general consensus.
Troubling Frazier with his length, legs & jab for about six rounds or so. Stifling Joe's offense on the outside & holding on for dear life whenever he worked his way inside. Not necessarily winning many rounds, but effectively shutting down Frazier's attack from reaching its usual full head of steam. Until about the seventh or eighth round when Joe's pressure would eventually result in trapping Ernie along the ropes & forcing him into survival mode.
After which I envision Frazier stopping Terrell in the tenth or maybe eleventh round.

Why don't you shut it with the "tall" crap... Only one in 74 7-footers makes it to the NBA.. Most of the tall guys who do make it to the NBA are so uncoordinated they can't do much but block shots and grab a few rebounds.. They don't score or run the floor with a great deal of precision because most guys who are that tall lack athleticism.. But Chamberlain was probably the greatest athlete who ever rewrote a record book.

Did you by any chance notice the date of my comment? The middle of 2014....not sure of the context of that.....unless you had already began telling your tall stories 3 years ago.

I quoted it when I saw it -- which was lately, so it's still in print... As usual it was an unknowledgeable comment from you. I think that's a soft way to put it.

Well since the summer of 2014, you've shared a lot of tall tales with this forum, and I have read, reviewed, and "scaled the heights" based on your input.

As a result I now have a greater wealth of information on this topic.
