Round 1: Um looked very much out-classed.
Round 2: For 2:45 minutes, UM was getting a pizzling, then for the next 15 seconds he fought back full bore, and Hooper went into shock.
Round 3: Um came out swinging like a dunny door in a gale, Hooper started back-peddling, then got badly cut over the right eye, which seemed to worry him no end. Um's round.
Rounds 4 to 6: Hooper tried to mix it with the wildly swinging Um, instead of jabbing away at distance. Hooper's left eye got a nick. Um started to fade in condition in the latter stages of the rounds, which allowed Hopper to dish out plenty of punishment. Um was working the crowd to his favour, and must have been made of granite, to weather the hits he was taking, yet he wouldn't give up.
A points win to Hooper, who looked the worst for wear of the combatants. Um could easily get a job, when he gets back home, guarding the 38th parallel, as there is no way those dip-sticks from North Korea would get past him.
Awesome report!

Good summary. I'll stick it in Fight's wiki, but I'll leave this part out:-

The Hooper vs Um fight inspired me to upload MY fight with Um.
As you can see, Young Don has a history of fighting wars.
Here he is, in his pro debut against me (I had made my pro debut the day before).

Not much point re-inventing the wheel, as Aus Boxing has a spot on report well worth reading:

only my opinion, but i reckon hooper has a bad attitude,if that dont change he wont go far,and he wont improve by fighting nobodies, claiming no one in aus will fight him is bullshit
