People aren't going to rush and buy ticket when the fights end of July but it will sell well. I'm holding out hoping they drop the ticket prices a bit.

I think with Tyson, there is no fights out there that really make him interested anymore unless there is a belt at stake. He seems to me a man whose playing the part of a prizefighter--- he puts on shows for the benefit of people, hoping to make some cash along the way--- but if the name isn't Klitschko it doesnt seem to mean anything to him anymore--- that competitive spark and fire in his eyes seems to be gone and replaced with a look of indifference.

Their fight is 7 or 8 weeks after Froch Groves so they'll have plenty of time to hype the shyte out of it.

A good undercard will help the bill.

I do find it strange business on Franks part that he's pushing such a blah fight (in terms of the general public wanting to see it NOW) in the same week that Hearn broke records on F&G.

They both could have fought in May on the same bill somewhere - and not against too strenuous opposition either. The table tossing could have happened then.

Alternatively Chisora & Fury could have posted selfies of themselves without make up on Facebook in an effort to promote the bout. Seems to be the in thing in the last 24 hours

Didn't think the Bellew thing was embarrassing, at least that was real emotion rather than acting, plus their fight was a lot closer and with the moves up to Cruiser a rematch would be interesting to see who's coped with it better. Fury Chisora 2 isn't even a big fight, I wouldn't even be too fussed if I was away that weekend and missed it.

Doubt it look at all the upcoming copper box shows and Newcastle one. All priced ridicolously and aren't selling well. Iv got a cheap ticket for Newcastle whilst there are thousands of more expensive ones still empty. Il just walk in and go for one of those

Yeah but there is genuine animosity there with Froch. Fury? He attempts are just, well....rubbish. I was laughing at him and not in a good way but at what a tool he looked trying to pull that off. I wont buy it but I might watch it, if I am not doing anything. Meh fight, no drama or excitement in it at all.

In terms of who should be sending bills, I think Tyson should be sending the Warrens a bill for his PR services. Thousands of punters dressed as empty seats turned up to see Chisora vs Kingpin. Delboy doesn't draw, I am not knocking him but these Copperbox fights he's been on over the past year, if you remove those ticket sellers from the undercard who are shifting 500+ tickets apiece, the arena would have been empty. If this show is a success the promoters will owe a great deal of gratitude to Mr Fury.

Indeed, I'd go so far as to say that the promoter of this show is, in effect, Tyson Fury

The prices are exactly the same as they are for the average TV show, Matchroom charge just the same for a load of mismatches. The Newcastle tickets start at £35, you won't find a world title fight that cheap anywhere else in the country and while the ringside seats aren't selling well, they're about £80, which isn't bad compared to some other shows and it's an 11,000 seat arena, at no stage did they expect to sell it out. As for the Copper Box show, Buglioni and Kean are on there, so that's a couple of thousand tickets sold straight away and with all the other ticket sellers on there, plus box office sales, there should easily be at least 1,000 more on top of those. I really don't get what you're complaining about.

He is becoming popular with the casual fan, I've even had my grandad ask me about Fury, and he hasn't watched boxing since the early 90s.
