Yeah he totally took his eye off the count which was a massive error.

Which is why I'm a bit puzzled. I mean even ourselves as fans who can't speak Spanish I'm sure most of us know when to get up if the ref is counting in Spanish.

There should be no controversy here. Cazares made an arse of count. That's all. Delighted for Frampton but poor ending

Was a great shot as well, that shouldn't be forgotten, Cazares went down heavily, even though he fucked up the count. Time for Santa Cruz now, bring him to Belfast in the summer.

As others have said, he took his eye of the ref right near the end of the count to look at Frampton. Considering his experience completely mad.

I speak enough Spanish to understand what's going on with a count, definitely at least to 8 and I can certainly count the referee's fingers.

Me too, been a while since I was over in Ireland, was looking at a trip over last year, maybe Frampton will drag me over.

Did I hear right? Did Bernard or Brian say they thought ref shoulda made the count more clear to Hugo. Maybe not? But if they did surely if you can't understand English very good then maybe concentrate on the big fingers an inch from your eyes instead of looking away

I i not know that the ref was speaking Spanish, but even if he was - he was still showing the number of fingers. Language doesn't come in to the conversation. An it shouldn't be use as an "out"...

I thought Cazares knew exactly what he was doing but just didn't want to be seen as a quitter. As soon as I saw him hobbling about and stretching after the low blow I thought he'd felt the strength of Frampton and didn't really want to know.

Fantastic shot by Frampton, couldn't have asked for anything more.
