I think the question is a bit blurred, as there could be lots of definitions of what is meant by "big".

Cyclone promotions on has one major fighter on their resume and a relatively new company. It just so happens though that the promoter is one of the biggest names in British and Irish boxing history and as a fighter he could attract millions and unite a divided country. Can we call Barry McGuigan's Cyclone promotions big... if not, then surely the answer is Carl Frampton.

Frampton is definitely possible, Cyclone Promotions don't operate outside of Belfast, whereas all the major promoters in the country put on shows all over the place, with small hall promoters being limited to certain areas.

Would you say Martinez is a big promoter?

TBH I looked on the Maravila website and couldn't find Kiko and with his last fight not being televised and this one sending him off to Japan I can't imagine he's getting much backing.

of course but that wasn't the question... Don King Ps used to be bigger than now as were Hatton Promotions.

Some good posts here. It does show that it's very rare to say the least. Kind of sad considering the effort and money small hall promoters put in
