Did Gomez actually even mention post count? You've construed him saying hardcore as meaning post count. Hardcore could mean;

1. Boxing insider (writer, trainer, fighter, referee, board official etc)

2. Attendee of many live fights.

3. Long time member of boxrec forum whose username is a predatory cat: who lacks a large post count but has an amazing, flawless, limitless, daily, Nightly and ever so rightly knowledge of boxing and all it's intricacies.

4. A boxing fan who likes Hardcore Junglism. Jungle is massive at the end of the day.

Ps.

The guy Eubank fought was poo squared. However, I like Eubank and think he's a welcome addition to the UK middleweight mix.

PPS.

It was a mismatch.
Hardcore posters should be able to tell the quality of a fighter to a certain extent before their weaknesses are exposed in the ring. David Price was fighting mismatches and most of us could see his flaws.

Eubank Jr has shown he can box a bit, doesnt at the level he's been fighting at so far have chin issues, hasnt gassed yet, has a great punch repertoire and from the snap in his punches compared to the feather fisted displays of the past is starting to develop some power.

At the moment to me it looks like he is certainly capable of stepping up a level and has the potential to progress further as he matures. How far up the ladder he can climb at this point is hard to tell but at this point im hopeful.

Even though I think he's a bit of a t**t he is a better boxer than his dad who would often only fight for 1-2 minutes a round and spend the rest posturing and posing. His lack of power is a concern though, not sure he is world class and his chin is yet to be tested. If his chin is as good as his dads thats not a bad thing.

He's exactly the same as his Dad, half the time he isn't throwing punches, but when he is, he isn't half as good as his Dad was, which is nothing to be ashamed of, he was an excellent fighter, but I don't see him going past domestic level without some very clever matchmaking.

But only 'cos you have an appropriately high number of posts, obviously.
