Are any of these guys willing to fight Herman? To fight Jofre? I see Morales is looking for a title fight, I don't have much of a problem with that. I do want to make sure Jofre can actually defend his title this week. Thus, if nobody but Morales is willing to fight him, maybe one of the listed three would fight Herman? If one of the listed three would like to take on Jofre, then Morales/Herman would be fine.

really? no one but Morales wants a title shot? alright well, if Morales fights Jofre, Herman will fight in a non title bout against an opponent of his choosing and if Morales fights Herman, Im going to allow Jofre a title defense against anyone in the Top 40(coming off a win of course)

If this becomes a regular occurance we could shift the elligiblity rules down a few places.

Seeing Morales is willing to fight Jofre, Herman is willing and offers up a challenge to Barry, Donaire, Gomez and Carruthers. If one of those guys are willing to fight Jofre, Herman is happy to face Morales.

By order of the Office of the Commish(s):

After a consultation is has been decided that the Title Elligibility rules will be changed as follows:

World Champions must defend their World Titles against Fighters ranked in the top 20.

Minor Title Holders must defend their minor belts against fighters ranked 21 or below.


Now that the elliglbity rules have changed, it offer greater selection to our Champions and hopefully this will mean more World Title defences being arranged without obstacles.

Erik Morales will face Jofre, but only if that is the only title fight left. As it is we still want the Pete Herman fight. I'll wait, and see how everything shakes down here.

I sent a PM to Naz that two champs are searching for an opponent. Donaire/Gomez are both fighting cpu opponents. Carruthers is fighting a managed fighter, so I dropped him of the list. Barry could fight either champ. I'm sure somebody will step up by Monday.

Who are the extra available opponents who are eligible now that we can go to 20? Surely somebody will be available for Jofre now? If so, Herman/Morales seems like the play, assuming Jofre can land a fight....

Morales can face Herman and Chandler can face Jofre. You could solve the dilemma yourself, plus have two title chances. Seems settled?
