JamieM wrote:He can hit I dont think hes a massive puncher as his record would be different. Dougie Curran didnt think he was that big a puncher, 5 kos out all his fights. The first shot landed and he showed good finishing by getting him out of there. In every single one of Ronnies fight there is a shot that seriously hurts people. Dougie Curran was hurt badly with body shot as was Michael Mooney who was running at one stage in the 5th round. Abdul Rashid down twice in his fight when he has never been dropped in his career and tough as boots in which ricky hatton said. Podusovs was down twice that referee didnt count but on footage u can see it clearly. Ryan Walsh all over the place in 2nd round of their fight and Maxi Hughes surviving in the 4th. Im not saying hes a massive puncher but when he hits you then you stay hit. For me Ronnie is the puncher in the fight and be interesting as Troy has a good chin seemingly but hes not fought someone with punching power.
He might have a decent dig but I doubt Ronnie's all round game is near the level of Turbo Terry and the fight between Troy and Terry was closer than the cards showed. I'm not saying he should have won it but it was closer and look how Terry has taken it on.

I think Troy wins this well and demonstrates his power again. I hear he has been able to full time train for this one due to sponsorship etc and he hasn't been able to do this previously as he has a young family.

Troy is slow, Ronnie is fast, Ronnie will have a massive reach difference! Ask Michael Mooney about the big massive right hand that Ronnie was letting him throw and laughing at him. Big Massive right hand that put Eddie Doyle to sleep Ronnie was taking it not a problem, Ronnie when kickboxing sparred mostly with 2 world champions at 75kg and 80kg. Wont convince me at all that hes gonna be making a mistake going toe to toe at all! Heard a rumour Troy also struggles to make the weight

Maybe I was facing the opposite direction watching Turbo Terry & troy as I didnt see any sign of power or speed. I havent seen Ronnie box, but if he is anything like his fanboys tell me on here I see nothing but an easy win for him.

I'm aware it was in Norwich, which made it even more baffling according to the reports I read, hence the word 'gifted'.

He's meeting him head on.. That's what's happening he feels he's the stronger guy.. Been sparring well against Super Middles so should be ok

Did you also read the interview where he said he was fighting for his life in there it felt like? Liam saying Ryan never been hit like that?when u ask ronnie he says he never felt any of Ryan's shots and most trouble he had in fight is when he loaded up on a punch and nearly threw himself out the ring ha,

The fight was online most who watched it felt that Ronnie had won by a few rounds.. He won't make that mistake again.. He knows not to let it go points maybe why he's going to just knock Troy out.. Makes it more interesting for us fans

haha its quite funny as they dont seem to think Ronnie will stand in the middle with him, Ronnie wanted to take a big right hand from Michael Mooney cause it knocked Eddie Doyle out. Its his mind frame and we will see who takes the backward step first

Its a pity the Tully didnt advertise in the coming weeks

Yeah he gets better advertising in Paisley usually which is madness, He got a full page other week but they dont really help out to try promote him. I think the problem comes in with Tommy not winning purse bids, just over 6 grand for the both of them is a bit of an insult if you ask me and shows that hes got a very poor promotor! I will also put my money on Tommy Gilmour not going down to support him either.

THink the Civic Hall themselves are selling them but i'll try and get an alternative one

This is the number for tickets that accompanies all local media stories on Troy's fights 07581 131745. It is available online at the minute in case anyone is worried about having a live number up here.
