Earl moves, speaks, and has all the mannerisms of someone who is actually drunk. Thankfully the aggro looked like playacting so hopefully Katsidis won't go wild in the fight. If he does... God help Earl.
I would not back a fit and healthy Earl to beat a drunk outside a club these days.

Graham really should have been strongly advised not to fight this fight or any other for that matter. He actually phoned me a few months ago and totally forgot what he phoned for. Then started to talk to me about insurance. I like graham I really do but Jesus wept. People round him should be ashamed of emselves.my memory has already gone and I'm still talking clear. In fact after the Scotty cardle fight I knew my reflexes had gone. And my family told me enough was enough Really hope he comes thru ok

This shouldnt be happening, both guys past their prime & Graham hasnt been in a competitive ring for years. Horror movie stuff, recipe for disaster! Shame on the people who encouraged Graham to get back in there.

They are currently in round nine! LOL
No knockdowns, both fighters shot, Katsidis has won every round.

It's over now, Katsidis wins 12 round decision, 120-109, 119-109, 120-108. Both fighters looked like shit.

Katsidis may be past his best but he is still a top quality fighter, you have to give Earl a lot of credit and respect for going the distance and not being off his feet, well done Graham, you obviously have a lot more left than people have thought.

I'm guessing sometime in 2029, then we can really argue about which fighter is more shot...

I'm was not making a comment about any possible previous damage, I'm giving the bloke some praise, don't you think he deserves it? It was fairly unanimous on here he would not get past the first minute, where in fact he went the championship distance against one of the better fighters in the world in his back yard.
How did Kevin Mitchell do?

This is real bad news all round...Graham will have convinced himself that 'he's back' after going the distance and will Carry on fighting and Katsidis will spin it in his own mind that he was just 'happy to get the rounds in' for the reason it went 12...both kids are finished and are sadly going to be in for real bad beatings soon

You do realise this is 2014? Katsidis doesn't have a notable win on his record since beating Mitchell four years ago. At his best he was a warrior but he always came up short against the best. Casamayor, Diaz, Marquez, Guerrero & Burns all beat him.

If he was European, he would still be regarded at top Euro level, I think it's sad no one else has given Graham a whisker of credit for what he did.

Coco is what you would call an 'enabler'. I hope his surname isn't Earl.

my main concern here, is that Graham has taken alot of punishment again for 36 minutes, and hope he's being looked after properly post fight. After a 5 year layoff how many boxers go straight into a 12 round fight? again i think it shows weakness on the part of the BBBoC to not at least protest this fight taking place with the Australian boxing authorities.

Not automatically although I probably agree with you. But without watching the fight you really can't say one way or the other.
Earl has been busy in the fitness field since his last fight so he was physically ready & - more importantly - less shell shocked than before. Couple that with the experience of age & he knew how to 'work the ring' better than before. He's still fit but he had a good rest from the rigours of boxing.
You also have to remember that Katsidis was pretty much unknown in the UK & US prior to the Earl fight. Earl thought he would destroy Mick but he was wrong.
So yeah, they're both pretty much past it but Earl lasting the distance could also be down to him being more savvy & less shopworn (if you know what I mean).

You are right I can't. You would just think a Katsidis with something left would catch upto him and stop him.
But nothing you said is wrong at all.
