Why do you choose to overlook Tyson's extensive fouling?
I have always found it amusing when people talk about Holyfield's headbutts versus Tyson, as if Tyson was some paragon of virtue in the ring.
Tyson was a dirty fighter himself who committed some horrendous fouls & that's before you get the the bit where he bit off part of Holyfield's ear.
Even after serving a ban for this & returning to the ring, he was still fouling like a drunk footballer against other opponents.
He got a taste of his own medicine against Holyfield & he didn't like it.
As the old saying goes, if you play with water, you might get wet.

maybe holyfield would have got disqualified as lane already warned him "i`m not warnin you again!" for whatever. could be for kneeing, lowblows or countless headbutts, or tyson kos holyfield or holyfield tyson,as its always just one punch that puts you down,

Mike gets knocked out again. Simple as that, they could fight 100 times at varying times and Tyson would never win.

See Holy-Tyson 1 for the answer.

Holyfield was too good an overall boxer for Tyson and matched him in strength... They were both small Heavyweights but Evander was taller... I can't believe Lane didn't stop the fight when Tyson bit part of Evander's ear off... That's the biggest joke I've ever seen in Boxing... He flat bites part of his ear off and you don't stop the fight??? Are you waiting for Tyson to bite his nose off??? Mike wanted out of there and he wanted to take Part of Holyfield with him. If Tyson didn't bite Holyfield's ears it would have been a repeat of the 1st fight -- like the 2 Pryor-Arguello fights.

nothing more similar than one of the greatest back and forth wars in history and a sad beat down.

Nothing too back & forth about it... Holyfield was taking control round by round... When he finally got up on Tyson he started beating him into the canvas.

I think Teddy Atlas predicted that Tyson was going to try to get thrown out of there? How would the fight have gone without the DQ?
Holyfield would have been disqualified for tactical head butting..
Yes, there was at least a eight to ten head butts that I could see - Plus,
Ive talked to a few (who remain nameless) at conventions who sat ringside and
wondered when Mills would finally have enough to issue or take a point.
Be safe all.

he would have found a different way to quit. he knew holyfield would beat him again and bullies don't like to get in a real fight.

Holyfield was an Andre Ward with his head.

Not a chance.. Holyfield liked to use head leverage against guys who bulled him.. It's like saying "What if Wladimir didn't clinch.?" ... He's gonna clinch

Is this some kind of Top Trumps?
Poor little bully boy Tyson, who long before he bit off part of Evander Holyfield's ear was fouling opponents, following through with elbows, hitting after the break & trying to break his opponents arms was supposedly worried by some so-called headbutts from Evander Holyfield?

Can't get more partisan than that.

Partisan?
Call it whatever you like; the worst headbutt in both of their fights was committed by the paragon of virtue that was Mike Tyson.
Fight 1, round 7 (I think), he headbutted Holyfield, came off worse, then started whining to the referee to try & get out of the fight.
That's partisanship for you.
