For me its whether Groves can stick to the plan this time. Froch will bring the heat, but I get the feeling he wants to make his mark early this time and that will play into Georges hands.
However, I'm not convinced George can do 12 with Carl without falling apart a bit in the later rounds. He hasn't proved to me in the past he can keep the pace for a full 12 (I wasn't sold on the Johnson performance).
George is a bit like Zab Judah in so much he is dangerous early on, when he has that striking one punch speed and a feels fresh but will start to wane in the 2nd half.
My only concern is that the last fight took something out of Froch, and he will get hit again this time. He may be more switched on and fitter (if possible!) this time but I don't think technically we will see any improvements, that ship has sailed. So what we will see is just a slightly more focussed and determined version of him in the first fight - but he'll still be eating shots all day. It's just whether he still has the resistance and persistence.
I think Froch comes out looking for big shots early to make a statement (he won't be able to help himself, because he knows he'll lose the battle of the jabs) and Groves will nail him. It might be a gunslinger for the first few but Froch gets caught and caught again. Groves for the stoppage in 4. I just don't think Froch wants to let the fight go like last time, although in reality that's his best option: let groves start fast and burn out. Froch just can't eat those kind of shots again for 5,6 rounds. He wants to Bute Groves and that will be his downfall.

I think for all groves talk of blowing Froch away, he is going to do the opposite and gives Froch a boxing lesson to deliver a wide UD, the only thing is can Groves stay disciplined and not get carried away and involved in slugging, which is Froches world.
Groves beat Froch in hand speed, foot speed and reflexes and I think he will be going back to countering, he may catch Froch with one and floor him again, but I defo feel he will just box his head off for the decision

Groves has a tendency to want to trade as soon as he gets hit hard in the face.

I think Groves will box and sharpshoot, he'll try and nick the early rounds by flurrying at the end of the round. I think he'll attack the body and smother and hold up close. I think his jab will be a factor and he may bust Froch up. I do think Groves will win and thought he'd win the first bout.

That and no matter what he or his fans claim, he naturally doesnt have very good stamina. He gassed pretty badly in the latter stages of the Degale fight aswell.

I think it's a trade off, you either start fast and fade or start slow and gather pace. If you've a lot of power it's better to use it early doors.
(Have you seen the 2 videos of pad work? What do you think?)

Groves looks very good on the pads no doubt. Groves is definietly the more naturally athletically gifted in terms of speed and so on anyway. No doubt about that. Froch has those other very important attributes that tend to help get him back in the fight.

Yes, Froch does have some real qualities. I thought McCracken was putting the pads out toward Carl when he punched so the punches weren't getting the full range, I wonder why he did that? Also Groves looks to keep his hands up and if he's punching with one hand the other is up, Carls tend to stay at shoulder height. It's nothing really but it makes you wonder.

I cant wait for the fight to just happen now. It's too much hype to be honest lol

I've bet on groves points with froch in rounds 10-12 as a backup

Froch by late stoppage or Groves by decision.
Personally i think Groves should box his way to a decision safe in the knowledge that he can hurt Froch when he lands. The more desperate Froch gets, the more opportunities there will be to time him coming in.
I dont believe Froch can win a 12 round decision if Groves sticks to a plan but if he gets dragged into a war then Froch will break him down and stop him late like the last fight, although it was stopped early, I dont think Groves was gonna be on his feet for much longer.
The fight is Groves' to lose, he has the faster hands, feet, probably the heavier hands but doesnt have the conditioning or chin to beat Froch at his own game. If Groves can control the pace of the action, he wins the fight.

I noticed that, in fact it was like McCracken was the one punching at times!

I imagine it's just a light work out for the media; all the hard work is done already behind closed doors. It just looks a little strange. Both men look sharp though.

Groves by KO inside 5 Rounds.
If the fight goes more than 5 or 6 rounds ??
I fancy Froch to come on strong and win by TKO in the 10th.

Froch by stoppage by the 10th. The fight will go similarly to the first, minus the knockdown. Not being knocked down will allow Carl to stay in the fight, albeit losing it, until the pendulum swings around 8 rounds in. I can't see Carl getting too hurt this time.

I really want Froch to KO Groves in a bad way.
So sick of this wining little Sally complaining about the last fight and then now complaining about everything involved in this fight. Just heard he thinks the Ref's style could favor Froch.
Shut up already. God I hope he goes to sleep on Saturday but, then I thought, he will just complain about the way he got KO'd.

Ive said it once and ill say it again. All you Grove supporters are in for a night of disaster. Froch will NOT lose! Period!
Groves will come unstuck, Froch took him for granted last time this time will not be the same. While I do not support either fighter I know that Groves will not beat Froch.
I think as ive said before Froch is Groves's Chris Eubank v Nigel Benn, if you understand my meaning. Benn should have beaten Eubank but politics, or bad luck stopped it. This is how I see the outcome of this fight. Sure Groves might be on top for a while and excite everyone for a few rounds then suddenly get chinned out of nowhere. At the end of this fight Groves will be kicking himself again!
As for how it will end I have no idea, but im thinking Groves will be in front at the time of the stoppage. If it goes to points, again I think a lot of people will think the fight is Groves but a draw or a narrow loss is on the cards.
At the end of the day it will be an exciting fight with possibly both on the deck at some point.
im sure ive contradicted myself in this reply but cant be arsed editing again

You're a good bloke mimmy but you're wrong on this one and I'll bet you Edlo bragging rights - if Froch wins you're the top picker - if Groves wins then I am.
(It wasn't politics or bad luck that stopped Benn - it was the fists of Eubank.
Groves will look fantastic walking Froch onto shots and will pour it on when Carl is wobbled + he will hurt Froch's body bad.

Palooka, while Groves should maybe win he wont on politics or bad decision or bad luck, im not saying Froch is better than Groves

I think if either fighter gets a gift decision it'll be Groves; Froch has been milked and has maybe a couple more fights left - Groves has 10 years on Carl and will be a household name from'the start'.
