couldn't believe what I saw, the security guys were making it worse, obviously strong in arm thick in head. Complete joke, wtf!
I thought Mitchell was doing 7 years?Blue Tongued Skink wrote:I saw that on the stream, what prompted the Froch security to storm across the stage in the first place? They seemed to be marching past Groves security until one of Groves team pushed Clifton Mitchell, then words where exchanged between the teams .. odd.
I liked how the bloke who pushed Mitchell brushed away Eddie's hand and 6.46, then held up his hand warning off Eddie.
Nice to see Clifton doing well for himself, from British & European title challenger to Carl Froch lackey.
Paul Smith said he couldnt get near stage , he was supposed to give some insight to sky on the weigh in after. Doubt sky would be happy being treated like that when, essentially, its their show.zero wrote:Seemed very odd and rather embarrassing. Eddie looked rather bemused with it all, and then Adam Smith walking over at the end looking cross... most importantly, George needs to move up to 175 soon, the man looks like he's popping pills back in the 90s.
I though Groves looked in great shape.zero wrote:Seemed very odd and rather embarrassing. Danconnolly - I can only assume you are referring to Ty Mitchell.
Clifton as Anzi has summarised is a very successful businessman and to call him a lacky is an insult Bluetongued.
Add to the list that he's an integral part of Fury's team as well.

A 'team' that consists of Fury's dad (currently 'resting') Fury's uncle, Fury's cousin, indeed Clifton has done very well indeed to be regarded as 'an integral part' of such a prestigious team

Oh forgive me, I didn't see this piece of undeniable eveidence that undoubtedly proves .......ABSOLUTELY FECK ALL!!!!!!Blue Tongued Skink wrote: Clifton 'Still a bad ass' Mitchell was shoved quite forcefully by a member of Groves team .
I'm sure Clifton wouldn't have been too worried, despite his age disadvantageconeye wrote:Who's the dude with the beard seems to be Groves head of security , he looked like a complete knob , pushing his way in on the face off . Either this is all a complete wind up and farce , and all these guys are going out the back , having a beer after and pissing themselves laughing , or there should be some serious questions , Security is the promoters responsibility , and it looks Eddie uses the guys in the blue ,, whereas Groves has brought in rent a thug
Like i said , its either all part of the show , or some fackwit is risking a situation , which could cost millions if it kicked off on that stage , and any of the fighters got hurt , and when you have got steroid heads , on a stage with bad feeling ,and cameras, to play up to , if it is'nt part of the show , They been facking lucky .

So one group are amateurs and the others not professional? In a 20 million pound event, ridiculous.Sklar wrote:It is.palooka wrote:I thought professional security was about neutralising any conflict before it occurs and not a case of squaring up?
But it all adds to the pantomime that is a British Fight Night and who would be without it! I love all these rucks and kick offs around the event. No point trying to dress boxing up as a civilized sport. It is about fighting and snot and blood. I shouldnt like it and I should dissaprove but I CANT HELP IT!!!palooka wrote:So one group are amateurs and the others not professional?
