I think groves is being over rated. I like the lad but he doesnt take a fantastic punch and he gasses easily.

People seem to be so busy looking at the positives from his performances because he did better than expected in his last two fights against froch they are missing the big negatives.

He didnt win the first fight he was about to be stopped proved by his complete U-turn in tactics for the rematch and he was taken out in one punch by someone who is not a noted concussive puncher in the rematch. He was also badly shaken by Anderson who is nowhere near world class.

I would put money on many top SMW's being able to recover from the punch that put groves away, AA, Ward, even DeGale, kessler took them, pascal took them, as did Glen Johnson although he is ultra durable.

George Groves is a very good boxer and im sure he is capable of winning a form of a world title but he is not the future of the SMW division. I wish he was but everything i've seen tells me he isnt.

It wasn't like he was totally owned. Carl got him with a decent shot. It wasn't a Calzaghe vs Lacy job.

He'll be disappointed now, but I'm sure he can come back stronger from this. He's had experience at world title level now, which he hadn't before. And his performance in the first fight was the reason this second fight happened.

Everybody reacts to things differently, so we can't be sure until it happens. I'm sure it'll be fine.

People talk on how groves could beat Abraham etc. styles make fights & Abraham is there for12! & ain't as leaky as froch! I'd say he'd catch up with groves aswell. I'd say groves is another Taylor at super middle & I'd say Taylor is more durable with a better defence

Groves has one of the best right hands in the sport...accurate and powerful...

I think he can KO most people he can hit. He just ran into a man who takes insane amounts of punishment.

I'd love to see him in with Andre Ward. I think if he landed he'd drop him. Of course the problem is landing flush on Ward. But I'd like to see George get the chance to roll the dice.
