Froch after a successful Vegas bout, could do Wembley again for Kessler 3 I think. You only have to re-run the first 2 fights to the general public, (esp 1st), and it sells out. No doubt about it.

Price V Fury could fill it but the police have already said they won't let it happen. There would be trouble and the met police don't have the resources to handle it.

If someone told me 12 months ago that Froch Vs. Groves would pack out Wembley I'd have told them to lay off the crack pipe. Even when the first fight was announced you had fans saying Groves didn't deserve the shot, they weren't interested in watching the fight and it definitely didn't deserve to be a PPV event.

I enjoyed Froch vs Groves 2, but the fact that it drew such a big crowd was partly hype.

I think it can happen but it needs to be real eye catching headliner with a strong undercard to back it up to make people come in out in the numbers that attended Carl Froch's second fight with George Groves as well.

the uniqueness of the fight being at Wembley was a big part of it's success imo, would be tricky to fill it again in the next few years.

If they promoted the shit out of Froch - Golovkin and moved up north I think they could get 80k+ in Old Trafford.

I could see Mayweather selling out wembley pretty easily myself. The hype around him in a general sense outside of boxing is already big. The media would be all over it if he came to fight over here.

This card wouldn’t sell out within 20mins, it would sell though. You could even stick on Burns, the Scots would love a day out in London.

It can easily happen again, but as Hearn himself said, the right ingrediants are needed for a fight to get that big. I cannot see any fight out there at the moment that would do it - perhaps if Calzaghe came out of retirement to fight Froch next that might create a huge buzz, but its not going to happen.

I doubt Mayweather v Khan would sell it out, non boxing fans no little or nothing of Mayweather, thats hardly the right sort of ingrediants.
