For it - left it to daddy)....the build up the lot...I doubt Alexander was injured he was looking for mayweather IMO and who can blame him...as for Brook well again I have no proof but he was clearly struggling to get down to welter and his next fight after that was at light middle so make of that what you will.
As for Barker..one might argue it was almost criminal going over to sturm and being paid 1m when he was incapable of fighting.. I didn't bother me in the slightest, infact it made me chuckle and I'm happy he got the big pay day to secure his family but questions could well have been asked if boxing was a regulated sport.
Injuries happen nothing farcical there.
Purdy as replacement has nothing to do with Kell do you think he enjoyed watching Purdy in that fight given that Devon didn't exactly look amazing.
The likely reason for putting Purdy in was a contractual issue forced Hearn to enter an opponent even a shit out of shape one or face a lot of cost's when big dough is at stake you send in the master smoother over common practise in all business.
They don't come smoother that Hall of fame promoter Barry Hearn.
Mayweather is in the background of all welter weight title shots just ask Amir hardly farcical on Matchroom's part.

For heaven sake of course Purdy was nothing to do with Brook directly - I keep saying CAMPS both CAMPS where playing about which made the whole situation a joke and something which must have pissed the IBF as well as US TV off. Which was my original point- I was giving Eddie credit for keeping Kell in the mandatory position for Porter and an acceptable opponent for US tv. I know why Purdy was put in that's fairly obvious boss but doesn't mean that it's acceptable - I found it an embarrassment to British boxing IMO.

Ah yes. Not too long ago then. It's always a big achievment when it happens as, with a few notable exceptions, they're usually brought over to get beaten up.

Forgive my ignorance, I'm not down with the street talk. But where does he 'Give props' to BoxRec? Shouldn't there be something like "the guys posting on BoxRec are a really knowledgable bunch of fans" or something? All I heard was "I've looked at BoxRec".

Kell has an opportunity to change his life.
I just hope he's not outgrown 147 and can carry his power and skills the full twelve rounds.
Fingers crossed he gets out there well ahead of schedule to acclimatise to the weather, time difference etc. I hope he's been sparring at 2am in recent weeks . I'd want him on their time zone at least a month out.

Some people swear by this, others I’ve spoken to believe it’s nonsense. There’s research both for and against. Most of the fighters who have done it lost their fights. Ricky Hatton used to train at his normal time and won abroad. It could be more of a mental edge type of thing.
I should say if your gonna be exerting that kind of energy whilst needing to be that switched on at that time of the morning.
You had better check and check again your capable of doing it.
His got all the sports science lads at Sheffield university at his disposal and is a stable mate of Froch he will have the best advice.

Porter is strong, but he's not very good. If he's good enough just to walk through Kell, he'll win, but lateral movement and counter punching are the way to beat him, and Kell has both those things. It might come down to confidence on the night, but as long as he doesn't freeze, Porter isn't exactly a Mensa level puzzle.
