No, he shouldn't have.

Trying to fight Haye was the right move, it just didn't work out.

Feel for Fury. You do wonder about ticket sales though: I mean was Del Boy really sparring this close to the fight?

Haye would've ended the stupid façade anyway. Timber in 2 or 3 max.

People are bound to speculate that poor ticket sales and lack of internatonal take-up were going to make paying. For this fight difficult. Hands are fragile thngs though.

I think Fury should be found an opponent even if just a bum. Needs to get back in the ring.

Surely they've gotta find someone for Fury and at least keep him on the bill? Fly Thompson over first class on BA or see whether Adamek is available, he'll turn up, is credible and give it a proper go. Hit the phones guys!

Fury must be fuming. It's just one of those things but it doesn't help him he can't seem to get a fight for love nor money. Surely a replacement must be found whoever it is, Fury needs action.

Very disappointing. But if Fury (and indeed heavyweights in general) were active, rather than sitting on their rankings & boxing so sporadically, these cancellations would be less of a blow to their career progress.

WTF!!!! This must be to do with ticket sales or something! Do you get a refund on your tickets for things like this as much as i like BJS im not spending all that money to see him headline.

Show's still on, unsure if Tyson will be fighting a replacement at this stage. Nothing's been announced about refunds as yet, I would guess they would be available, although it says Fury-Chisora, it was billed as 'The fight for the right' and as a WBO title eliminator, as well as European title fight, Billy Joe Saunders' fight fits those criteria, so I suppose they could say they're providing what was advertised, but it's too big a fight and too close to not offer refunds without a huge backlash.

if the show goes ahead then no, unless the ticket company decide to refund. Booking fees lost though.

I do feel sorry for Fury. Three times in one year is a bit much for any fighter.

Make him fight Hughie :box:

On a serious note though I do hope he gets a half decent opponent for the weekend. Just to keep his mind on boxing.

Get Shannon Briggs on a plane
Shannon's far too busy doing 600 push-ups in his Y-fronts, shouting obscenties at random pedestrians and sleeping in a hedge outside Wlad's house!

If he does fight still then it isn't gonna be a half decent opponent, let's be serious. Nobody in the top 30 is going to step in on a weeks notice.

Adamek,Scott,Ustinov,Thompson or Dimitrenko would all do i suppose but theres probably a million reasons why they cant happen

Looks like we'll have to take what we get and be happy at such short notice, shite like
