I'm amazed that people are voting Jennings up when he only won
because of a point deduction.
because of a point deduction.
I had Jennings winning 117-111. I don't care about the judges.tiny_acres wrote:I'm amazed that people are voting Jennings up when he only won

Yes. What have Arreola or Solis done that is as good as beating Oquendo in the last few years? They've also both lost their last fights.Tony1244 wrote:I'm no Chagaev fan but why is he out? He won his last fight against someone in the top 50 while almost everyone else hasn't even fight.
He is still not an elite fighter. Should not go any higher than he was.Horse wrote:I had Jennings winning 117-111. I don't care about the judges.tiny_acres wrote:I'm amazed that people are voting Jennings up when he only won

He beat a fairly high ranked opponent though. I think he should climb a bit.ikorolev wrote:He is still not an elite fighter. Should not go any higher than he was.
Beating is too strong of a word for what was happening in the ring.Horse wrote:He beat a fairly high ranked opponent though. I think he should climb a bit.ikorolev wrote:He is still not an elite fighter. Should not go any higher than he was.
Who is elite at heavyweight anyway? It is an awful division.
Jennings did better than Perez.ikorolev wrote:Beating is too strong of a word for what was happening in the ring.
We have all read your p4p ratings. You have proven you don't know crap.Horse wrote:I had Jennings winning 117-111. I don't care about the judges.tiny_acres wrote:I'm amazed that people are voting Jennings up when he only won

Yet, when critics offer their own rankings they are usually very much worse, often laughably so.tiny_acres wrote:We have all read your p4p ratings. You have proven you don't know crap.
I agree just pickin' on you.A p4p rating is easy for the top 2-3 after that good luck.MightHorse wrote:Yet, when critics offer their own rankings they are usually very much worse, often laughably so.tiny_acres wrote:We have all read your p4p ratings. You have proven you don't know crap.

as well draw names out of a hat.
a) That was the official scores. Unofficially, Jennings won that fight pretty clearly.tiny_acres wrote:I'm amazed that people are voting Jennings up when he only won

Beating Oquendo is not an achievement worthy of a top 15 rankings. Solis has not done anything, and doesn't belong in there either, and you won't have me saying otherwise. Arreola dominantly beat Seth Mitchell recently. Chagaev unimpressively won against Oquendo. Mitchell clearly beat Jonathon Banks in the rematch not so long ago. Mitchell and Banks have both been consistently ranked above Oquendo for quite many years. Mitchell and Arreola had also frequently occupied spots above Chagaev prior to the past 13 months of results. Being better than Chagaev before + gaining more ground that Chagaev since then = remaining ahead of Chagaev. Also, I think Chagaev is pretty much easy pickings for any top 20 heavyweight, whereas Arreola could very realistically upset a handful of them, just like he did not so long ago against a guy who was in the top 15.Horse wrote:Yes. The #8 slot in the heavyweight rankings is not the threshold for being elite. Elite is like the top 1 at heavyweight, the top 4 at welterweight, the top 2 at super middleweight, etc..ikorolev wrote:He is still not an elite fighter. He did better but he didn't do well.Horse wrote:Jennings did better than Perez.ikorolev wrote:Beating is too strong of a word for what was happening in the ring.
A bit premature perhaps... 2014-10-20 He (Fury) will be out... Chisora may be too, but really can't be bothered to check his record at the mo'...Horse wrote:You are wrong.eastezrider wrote:Opinion: Any Top Ten list including Tyson Fury and Dereck Chisora is pure rubbish... May as well put Vitali Klitschko back @ #1...
Stiverne beat Arreola twice. Whoop-de-doo!Cap wrote:Stiverne No.2 contender for Wlad after Pulev. Everyone after them drops a notch because they're pathetic.
