Warren.

He could be writing for The Times, and I still wouldn't wipe my arse with his column. All it ever is propaganda about how great his fighters are, and bitter and twisted rampages about fighters that aren't promoted by him or aren't on his channel. The stuff he writes is a joke, and should be treated as such.

Where's the 3rd option; 'Couldn't Be Bothered'?

It's obvious that he couldn't be arsed to fight.

To be fair to him, his opponents keep pulling out on him on the eve of big fights.

It wouldn't surprise me if he didn't fight again! :oo

So why call people who don't know the supposed alternative 'truth' fools?

So you're 'not releasing it' as you consider it to be private information, yet you state that there are fools that don't know the reason he pulled out; which implies it is open knowledge?

That's contradictory.

If you want to keep it private can you at least PM me the reason?

If that was true, is it fraud on FW'S part?
That can't be right, Derrick was sparring in the time his hand was meant to be damaged.

The six weeks angle is a massive and very unlikely conspiracy. His channel was making documentaries and paying for adverts plugging the fight. What would be the point in that ?

I'm not a fan of the promoter but come on, he puts on big fights and I've no doubt he really wanted this to come off. I bet he was gutted when he found out there was an injury. He'll be aware of the perception that his shows fall apart, and I am certain he was hurting (as a promoter) when Eddie staged Froch vs Groves 2 at Wembley. He is clearly second best at the moment and he wanted to put on a massive fight of his own.

Ok - I have read the other thread that is about 10 pages long.

And I am pretty certain I have sussed the reason too, and it is a more than valid enough reason to pull out.

Carefully read all 10 pages having read this and it should jump out at you.

But as the family clearly didn't want people to know, no need at all to repeat it :TU:

It's only been 4 days and I'm already sick of this story. At this point I couldn't care less why Fury pulled out, just hope he's back in the ring soon against a good opponent.

Why not? Some would argue that as a public figure who is essentially paid by the public, including many that bought tickets, have a right to know. Especially after all his previous spoutings against other boxers on pull outs

They don't know that though do they? They just know a few people are saying there's another reason...doesn't make it true, does it? People can only react to the official reasons put out there by the Fury's.

got to agree with that - why even say you know anything if you aren't going to tell people what "the truth" is. Having said that i've got some inside news on David Haye which is massive but i cant tell anyone. I'll tell everyone after its released in the press, i'm in the know you see.

So is that true ,, did he pull out because Peter stabbed Hughie ,, if he did stab him, what did hughie tell the hospital , i slipped on a knife ,, and if he did tell them that , then Peter did'nt get arrested ,, so whats the problem, still no reason to pull out ,, cos he would of fought even if he was blind ,, so a suprfiscial , non life threatening, stab wound , is'nt a reason to pull out ,, and how do i know it was non life threatening ,, easy because if it was life threatening ,, the police would be involved ,

See its all easy when you play Sherlock .. then again it might not be true ,, but there all such charming people who knows ,, Its like a facking soap opera with that lot ,, bring Paddy Doherty into the equation and fack me ,, bring out the popcorn , were in for a goood night .

Me i still believe , his bottle went , his uncle seen it , and pulled the pin on the fight . Or maybee his uncle got scared Tyson would get beat , either way there bottle went ,, not such a big deal for the rest of us mere mortals ,,

But for the hardest gypsy familly , who were born and bred to fight and are scared of no man or beast , the guys who are the bravest fighting men to come out of wherever there from ,, well its a let down ,, but then again if they did'nt keep telling everyone well , nobody would be that bothered

Great post mate.

I was surprised how agile Ustinov looked when he made an appearance on fight night, stepped over the ropes as if they weren't there. He was no lummox and most of us seem to think Fury probably made the right decision. What a hypocrite though.

Fury was going to get KOd and got out of dodge.

That's what happened.

im going to withhold judgement until what happened actually comes to light, i do find it strange that Tyson or Peter havent tweeted anything as of yet which means they are either embarrassed they pulled out or its very serious. I find it hard to believe Fury bottled it.
