Considering the career Rosi went on to have I think that must rank up there with the very best of Honeygans career performances.

No one else ever came close to doing that to Rosi.

I seem to remember Vince Pettway giving him a bit of a bashing, cutting him and dropping him heavily but it was really at the tail-end of his career by that point. Pettway was decent but just didn't have a chin to match his power (who can forget him blitzing Simon Brown that way)...

I think Honeyghan tends to get both overrated and underrated at the same time. He was very good, the best at his weight for a time but that time was so finite that it becomes difficult to marry it up with the career decline.

spot on, I would say Paul hokos career was very similar in career path although the ascension as long nor the decline as severe. I always thought the right hand over the top vs rosi was spectacular as a kid. After curry,bumph us n hatcher I thought Lloyd sum what ignored the fundementals and turned into a brawler vs vaca(the bodyshot that did him was quality tho) and as has been said was bashed by starling n breland. One of britains finest tho

Starling destroyed Honeyghans confidence. That was a really skilful beating. Breland hurt Honeyghan every time he touched him, that was an awful bout to watch, Brelands jabs shook Lloyd's legs.
