Not so much. Ali actually had the audacity to beat contenders. Henry Cooper, Doug Jones for Liston and Jerry Quarry and Oscar Bonavena for Frazier. For Foreman: about a dozen top contenders.

Briggs is just loud and boring and the fool just injured himself.

Wlad and Briggs are mimicking the success of Charlie Zelenoff. But their videos are not garnering the views like Zelenoff and his antics do. Zelenoff vs Wilder and this last choke out against the MMA punk drew millions of views and came off much more real than Wlad and Briggs. They are in the wrong Hollywood to get the people to watch in mass. They should be filming in Cali where Charlie Z can get involved to make sure the public will watch the skits. Nobody cares to watch Wlad and Briggs when they can watch Charlie Z.

I do sometimes wonder what planet SHannon Briggs because he has had hsi time he is 42 years old beating journeymen since Vitali K spanked him around the ring to such an extent that Ian John Lewis should have stopped the fight around the 10th round because it was so horrifically one sided. I meant that in the way that he is following Klits around and trying to goad him into the fight much in the way that Ali did Liston.

I think the lean on this situation is its some fake sh!t. I assume you can get a restraining order or something similar in the countries this stuff is happening in (assuming its in Germany or just not in the US or UK) & that would seem to be the move if Wladimir wasn't in on this in some way. Respect to all of them if they can draw up interest in this bs fight over a couple videos though.

Exactly. Any publicity is good, even for Wlad. Briggs is following the standard wrasslin buildup hoping he can snag one last big payday. And my guess is that they'll actually be able to sell tickets for this in Germany.

I can't blame him for trying to get paid again, but it's borderline pathetic at this point.

Wlad has moved on...the challenge is to see when he can beat the next generation before signing-off and that is Pulev, Wilder and Stiverne. A case of yesterday's man using today's PR techniques.

He is doing the goading and following part. I'd like him to do the fighting part against a serious heavyweight.

Isn't Wlad living near the Los Angeles are now? Maybe he has learned a few lessons from Hollywood and is basically playing all this up to lead to a title fight with Briggs, which by then will gain some publicity momentum. Why not?

Didn't anyone notice, that except for the presumed employees, the restaurant is empty. Not a single customer.
They had to close the restaurant so they could stage this garbage.
If any of you believe this is the real deal, don't forget to watch Summerslam.

The only possible reason to stage this confrontation if you're Wlad, is if you're going to fight Briggs and want to drum up promotion.
If they fight, then I'll believe that Wlad was in on it.
If they never sign to fight, there wouldn't have been any point for Wlad to be acting out a role in Brigg's production, and you know they aren't friendly.

This was all Briggs, and I think he actually loses it over the water on his head.
